This classic old gas station collectible has a brass spout, a lever for hands free operation, and the patent date actually references to 1952. It seems fully functional but I could not fully test it and it is in very good condition with no cracks or chips in the aluminum body or brass spout and it shows light to normal use with some tiny nicks and scratches. Vintage OPW No 1 Fil-O-Matic Aluminum Gas Pump Nozzle Div of Dover Hot Rod
Up for auction is a vintage OPW Division of Dover Fil-o-matic gas pump nozzle. No. 1. Made in Cincinnati. Ohio. Patent no. 2582195 I'm not sure how old it is. Probably made around the 50's-60's. I think it's aluminum. It's in good used condition. I don't think it's missing anything. I don't know much about them to be sure. Took as many pictures as I could. Has some scrapes. Scratches, paint marks, alittle dirt, dust. All moving parts work well and move freely. It is about 16 1/4" long from end of nozzle to the end that the hose attaches.
