Vintage Polished Steel Gas Cap New
I do not have any info on what this gas cap will fit or it's date of manufacture. I got this as part of a group lot and there are no markings on the box. What I can tell you is that it is new in it's original packing and comes with a rubber gasket. The gasket is still flexible and looks to be perfectly usable. There is a small link chain that connects the cap to the body. It does not come with any mounting screws. But the holes drilled for the screws are counter sunk. The dimensions are as follows: Overall diameter of the top bezel 3 and 5/16 inches Distance between screw holes center to center 1 and 15/16 inches Overall diameter of the flange that protrudes from bottom 1 and 7/8 inches Depth of flange 1 inch Hope this helps.
