Up for bid I offer a wonderful 1977/78 Hess Tanker Truck. This Hess has never been played with or put on display and is in super clean condition. There is one mark on it on the top right side of the tanker(photo# 3) This is a small dimple which looked to have been made when this part was molded. There is no sign that it was hit to make this mark as the top insert is clear of any sign of a hit. The box. Inserts,instruction card and truck are in great condition except for mentioned mark. The lights work perfect and will have a battery included. Please review my photos closely as they are part of the discribition and show it quite clearly. A wonderful Hess for any collection. The battery box is nice and clean, does not appear to have ever had a battery in it, in fact the on/off switch is sticky from non-use. Other than some age wear to the decals on the tankers trailer this truck is in good condition, especially for the age, as it has never been played with. NASCAR 76 RACE FUEL GAS CAN was Possibly used in movie Talladega Nights
I bought several Nascar items at Auction. Including this gas can. I was told that it was from the movie Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell and so I watched the movie and there is one in it. I will also be listing framed pictures with the movie prop company info on the back of it and several banners. So to my best knowledge it was made for the movie. I live in Charlotte so I am thinking this and all the other gear I will be posting was intended for and on set of the movie. Either way its a really cool can! Size 12"x5"x5" The engine is on stand( heights with stand 15" It was used as a part of united engine installation with a thrust of 13.3 kg(mass– 1.2 kg) for the channels of pitch. Yaw and roll, made for use on Zvezda- the core module of the ISS that provides living quarters and life support for the crew. It was originally intended for the Mir-2 space station. But when this project was cancelled after the fall of the Soviet Union. It was amalgamated into the ISS instead. The height of the engine is 12.5” The similar assembly is using now for new generation spacecraft Kliper. Please see the images of the engine assembly.

2 Scepter Fuel Cans ( MFC ) with RED STRAPS for Gasoline Gas
THIS IS A PICTURE I USE OVER AND OVER. SO YOU WONT GET THESE EXACT CANS, BUT YOU PROBABLY WONT BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. I have 2(THIS AUCTION IS FOR TWO) used Scepter Brand Military grade fuel cans. Honestly. These look beat up, but will hold fuel and do their job just as good as the brand new, nice, pretty ones. These cans come WITH the red straps shown in the picture. The cans do not have cracks or holes, and the flanges are free from any major cracks or issues. In other words, the cans will be functionally sound for holding fuel. Its tough to find intact flanges anymore, and harder still to find the straps. THESE ARE SURPLUS CANS. So I do not know what was in them before I got them. All you have to do is pour a little gasoline in them, shake them up, and then pour out the gasoline, and they will be good as new on the inside. It ... morewill NOT hurt your engine to use a can that had previously been used for diesel, etc. Also, I have these sitting in a big pile, so I just grab however many I need, throw them into a box, and ship them. They will be dirty, dusty, etc. I do NOT wash them, shine them, polish them, etc. What I am getting at, is these are surplus, you will have to wash them off when you get them, and rinse out the inside with a little fuel to be safe. But they WILL be ready to do the job. If you DO have any problems with the cans(find a pinhole in the can, or something I overlooked) just contact me about it and I will fix it. No problem at all. I am VERY easy to work with as long as you are reasonable yourself. I also sell my own pour spouts. Steel carriers for these, etc. What you see is what you get. Vintage Green Double Mantle Coleman Lantern Model 228F in decent condition. Bottom is stamped 10/68. Or October 1968 as the year it was manufactured. Almost 45 years old and still in very nice shape. It's been well taken care of. Any issues are purely cosmetic. Peeling paint near top of tank. Also has some minor scratching but not bad for a lantern of this age. It has the nice wide porcelain top- 9" in diameter- with no dings or chips. I purchased this at auction- it had fuel in it but two broken mantles. So I haven't fired it.
