For sale is a model 88 Bashlin Floridian Climbing Belt in size D28. This all leather belt is the Cadillac of climbing belts. It is all hand sewn heavy leather with metal hardware. The belt is in excellent condition with many years of life left in it. There are very few minor scuffs to the surface in places. None of which compromise integrity of the belt. This is marked ASTM F887 and 700mm. The padding is in excellent condition. The leather has been taken care of and shows no signs of drying.

The Bashlin aluminum Gaffs are in good shape and the leather straps are all there and the buckles all clasp together fine. This also has a Buckingham belt style 1314 that is a size medium. Have dirt, scratches,coating loss, and spotty surface rust throughout. Strap is dirty and has rust spots. Rope is the same. Belt round clips have spotty rust and coating loss. Hooks on rope are marked Atlas 403-A and are fairly clean. They hook tightly. Rope has hardly any fraying to it, and appears to have been hardly used but is dirty. Vintage Atlas Lineman's Pole/Climbing Safety Belt (dated 02-1982) Model 246
This is a Vintage Heavy Duty used Atlas Lineman's Pole/Climbing Safety Belt. It is in really good working order with no bad parts or missing parts. All of the stitching is tight and not coming apart anywhere it even has the leather strap protectors on the end of the straps. I believe if it was pressure washed with a little soap it would look almost new. This belt has a built in safety/climbing rope that is permanently fastened on one side and has a spring clip on the other end. The safety/climbing rope is about 8'6" long and the belt adjusts from about 33" to 50" leaving about 2" of strap sticking out the buckle. The little bit rust that's on the buckles is on the surface and could be cleaned up also. It does appear to be a well made harness and it was made in the USA in Feb. of 1982. Everything about it is ... moreheavy duty. For being over 30 years old it's in great shape and should last for many more years.
