Vintage Hamilton 1/4" Sensitive Precision Drill Press Jewelry Watchmaker
Up for your consideration is a vintage Hamilton 1/4" sensitive. Precision drill press, possibly from a watchmaker. The throat is 3 inches, the table is 8" x 6" and adjustable. The motor pulley and tensioning pulleys are bakelite. There is not a name anywhere on the machine, but the letters H-A are cast in various places. A fellow Ebayer sent me a picture of the same unit except his had the tag, so I am basing my identification on that. The handle has teeth at the pivot point that allow for adjustment to any position. The motor is a GE 1/6 hp, 115 volt, 1725 rpm that runs fine, but the switch is a little touchy and the cord should be replaced. The overall condition is good, but there are some drill marks on the table, and the belt needs to be replaced. Please ask any questions you might have.
