this is a nice 6.5 foot wide offset tandem Farm Disc with Hydraulics.it has 9 scallop 19 inch pans.per row.Making it a 18 pan disc.it is 14 feet long from rear to end of tougne.it is a old style from the 1960s.Dad said it was made by Service but we are not sure.still cuts great, we just do nto need it.all the bearings turn freely nothing is stuck.weight is around 1500 to 1800 lbs, disc pans are about 12 inches OD.all axles and bearings are very good,no broken pans or parts.you will need to replace the hydraulic hoses.it has not been used for several years.if I fix it then I will keep it.I can load it for you, out my!Be sure to add me to your! IH 490 disc 28 foot
I have a 490 IH disc it is 28 foot wide. The cylinders are all good no leaks hoses good and tires are fair. The blades have a lot of nicks in them. The front measures 18 and the backs about 19.5. The frame is good has a buster bar on the back, I bought this to make a tubro till but just not going to do it. This is a good disc but could use new blades. Krause Disc Numbers on the serial number plate are 1447 and 372 I measured the front disc blades at 20" Across and the rear disc blades measured 17 1/2" across. This disc has one new tire on it.
