I am listing a very nice Fish bowl/plate by Ron Meyers of Athens Georgia. Is in very good condition. Has one small flea bite on side which i have attempted to photograph. Measures 9" x 9" x 3" Ron Meyers holds a 1967 M.F.A. degree in ceramics from the School for American Craftsmen. Rochester Institute of Technology, and B.S. 1956) and M.S. 1961) degrees in art education from State University of New York College at Buffalo. He taught at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC from 1967-1972. He then spent the next 20 years teaching at the University of Georgia in Athens where he retired as Professor Emeritus. For sale is my Bouzouki This is a four-course(tetrachordo) hand made Greek bouzouki. I purchased it new in Athens in 1979 as a gift for my father. At the time. It cost $350.00. This is not some modern knock-off. This is a real, vintage hand made instrument. Condition: This bouzouki was never played. My father had it handing on his wall for 33 years. I replaced a few of the strings. Since they had darkened from age. O therwise. It's all original. As you can see in the photos. The pick guard needs to be re-glued at the edges. This Certificate has been claimed as there is no coupons with it and the certificate has been triangled hole punched as you can see in the pictures. The condition of the Certificate is very good for it's age. No tears or rips, however there is a couple of pencil marks on the back of it, as you can see in the pictures, I would try and get them off with a rubber, but did not want to risk marking the paper. Descriptively referred to as" Improved Stone China" by it's Manufacturer- Charles Meigh. Hanley, Staffordshire, England circa 1835- 1849 as determined by Manufacturer's Trademarks present on Reverse surface. Referenced in Jeffrey B. Synder's" Romantic Staffordshire Ceramics with values" Page 129, Charles Meigh produced Earthenware pottery of High Quality which were also dubbed"Opaque Porcelain" with varied ornamentation ranging from plain to decorative and decorated largely in Transfer printed patterns in colours other than Blue- As was the then growing Trend during this period. Charles' wares ranged from Dinner, Dessert, Tea& Breakfast services, Stoneware Jugs- ... morewhich were particularly well-received, to Toilet articles. Measuring 13- 3/8" in Outer Length. 10- 3/4" in Outer Width, Interior Serving Area of 9- 3/4" in Length by 7- 1/4" in Width, 1- 1/4" in Height and with Oval Base dimensions of 9" by 6- 5/8" Small Game Platter features a Romantic Staffordshire scene of Classically-Inspired Buildings, Urns& Statuary; Tall Towering Trees, a Large body of Water, additional Buildings& Mountain scapes in the distance and assorted Foliage& Flora in the foreground. Coordinate Campus, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia- In February 1860 the University of Georgia purchased 93 acres surrounding this site and later sold all but 30 acres to finance the construction of Rock College. A preparatory school for the University of Georgia. Between 1862 and 1891 the school served the educational needs of Georgia in a variety of roles. In 1891 the Georgia General Assembly established the State Normal School on this site to train Georgians to be rural teachers. The nearby commercial area soon adopted the name"Normal Town. The oldest remaining academic building on campus. Winnie Davis Hall. Was erected in 1902 as a memorial to the daughter ... moreof Jefferson Davis. One of the house mothers to live here was Moina Michael. The inventor of the Memorial Poppy. In 1910 the Carnegie Library was erected with a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. Because of its historical and educational significance, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1929 the institution's name was changed to The Coordinate College. During WW II. The campus was used by the U.S. Army as a training site and after WW II the school was again occupied by women students attending the university. In 1953 the site was purchased by the U.S. Navy as a permanent location for its Supply Corps School. In 2011. The University of Georgia announced plans to renovate four buildings at the Navy Supply Corps base for a new Health Sciences Campus. Workers plan to begin the renovations shortly after the state takes the title to the 58-acre campus. The Navy vacated the Normaltown base in October, 2010, moving its Supply Corps school to Rhode Island. UGA's College of Public Health and a medical school jointly operated by UGA and the Medical College of Georgia are slated to move to the Navy school site, which university administrators are

I found about 20 different ones of these from my grandfather’s collection. From the research I have done they are Post 1960. And the maker is unknown. They are NOT made of precious metals, and probably a mix of common metals. They come in their original plastic and parchment paper with a description of the coin or token. Some of the old tape has discolored some of the paper from age. A great conversation piece to have if you can’t afford the real thing. RARE 3D raised ceramic porcelain Made In Athens Greece Antique decorative Plates
I'm not sure if these are a ceramic. Porcelain or pottery type of material. I do know they are old and see crazing in places. I do not see any major defects that would take away from the display. This is a set/lot of 2 vintage/antique decorative plates. I took several pictures hoping you can tell more about them and the condition. I think you will be able to see the detail. There's a place on the back for displaying. Imprinted on the back Made in Athens Greece D.or P. E.V.P.E. ALAS D.V.P. There's also some imprinting at the top but cannot make it out. They have the raised/3D type design places on the plates. They are approximately 7 inches in diameter. Again, I hope you can tell more about them and the condition by looking at the photos.
