Up for bids is an approximately 3/4" wide 1 1/2" long elongated 1973 Lincoln head novelty penny souvenir with the image of the North Star and the slogan"Peace On Earth" inset on the back(Memorial Side) of the remaining 1973 squashed Lincoln head penny-The strange thing is that the printing is reversed. So I'm assuming this was an error or a test print item-Nice vintage item.

ZAP COMIX#2 ROBERT CRUMB S. CLAY WILSON MOSCOSO RICK GRIFFIN 1st printing Apex Novelties 1967 VF 7.0 This copy is the rare"Head First" miscut. This is the true first print of the Zap 2 Comix. The one with the Head First Story miscut. The story on thisprinting is that when this comic was first being assembled in 1968. The miscut was noticed after about 500 of these were assembled(out of the 5000“guts” that were printed) but that t was an art gallery in San Francisco that was going to have a Zap show opening that needed these comics right away so the approximately 500 were not destroyed and were sent to the show, but the other 4500 guts were destroyed. The miscut can be seen in the photo(the R-rated piece was blacked out in Photoshop by me and is not part of the comic) The miscut caused to be no margin or a slight margin between the ... morebottom of the page and the bottom of the drawing panel, i.e. the panel is actually at the bottom of the page. This was fixed in the next printing to shift the panel up and provide a margin between it and the bottom of the page. 6 head 4 station manual screen printing press. Very heavy duty, very good condition. It does have a few paint blemishes, a bent bolt or two from transport, and a couple hand knobs missing from two of the adult platens, one of leveling legs has a broken hand knob, none of which affects functionality whatsoever. Includes 4 child platens, 4 adult platens, and a sleeve platen. This press is not a cheaply built press. It has micro registration and a centering assist to help stop the press rotation as you're moving from station to station so you can land under heat flash between colors. Everything works excellent. You won't find many this well built. I have a press that is 3 years newer and it is half the press, even though I paid same money for both.

You are bidding on a 9 inch by 12 inch antique copper printing plate. The plate is mounted on a wood printing block secured with very small mounting nails. This is a detailed portrait of an elaborately dressed. Proud,young man, wearing a decorative head dress. This printing plate is in nice condition. the engraving/etching is clear with nice details especially in the area of the face. great clothing with intricate patterns. Very unusual. There are areas of printing ink? on the lower right hand edge of the plate. I did not try to remove this for fear of diminishing the antique value by polishing the copper. see pictures. excluding that this is a dramatic plate with great visual impact. The front cover has only the slightest stain; the gilt and graphics are very bright and clean. The gilt and graphics on the spine are also quite clean. But there is considerable wear to the top and bottom of the spine. The corners of the covers are also bumped and somewhat worn. The front hinge is significantly cracked but not separated. There is some writing on the inside cover and the the first FFEP. And there is a very light(and nice) pencil drawing on the back FFEP as well as a name inside the back cover. The text itself is perfectly clean- not a single mark or spot of foxing that I can see. The binding is quite firm and there are no loose pages. A great SIGNED version ... moreof this classic.
