The internal parts all look to be in good condition with no dents or cracks. The power and communication connections are in good condition as well. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. Unfortunately we are unable to test the functionality of the item because this item is missing the control panel. The lady at college said of her worker and I quote, It was like trying to teach a caveman to launch a rocket" I laughed at that one! Based on what she told me. It was only used during the initial demo run and attempted to be used once more. Nothing wrong with the equipment, just the reluctant operator. The equipment is not hard to operate, the operator was just hardheaded and very slow learner. The equipment was put in storage in a climate controlled room for a few years and then the decision was made to move it to the colleges print shop. Right after moving it to the college print shop. The print shop manager left on a fairly long health leave. During that time additional print shop equipment(not mail related equipment) was purchased- offset presses and a large paper cutter.
