Full length, no breaks, cork and duplon in good order, keeper ring in place, double legged fuji eyes on the butt section, inevitabl y some rubbing to joint s but only the expected w ear on a rod of this vintage. Not often seen. The Krypton, precursor to the iconic Normark Titan and only produced for a short time, with its early use of duplon is a must for the Normark collector- and being the top qual ity carbon of that era. The front tip is missing, but I have no idea how much. I do not have original dimensions. I used a pen to help highlight where there is what appears to be a hairline crack, next to the mold line, in the corner.This does not effect the sturdiness of this piece and has not spread. It appears to be on ... morethe outside. Upon closer inspection, I noticed chips around the outer top and top inside. I tried my best to take close up pics. Three French "Pyrogene" Bistro Match Striker/Holders
For sale are three French"Pyrogene" bistro match holders/strikers. Made of porcelin. These were used to hold strike-anywhere matches which could be lit by striking against the unglazed ribbed side or bottom of the holder. They were very popular in the early 1900s and were often given out as a vehicle for advertising. Each holder is about 3.25" to 3.5" tall with a circular base with an approximate 3.5" diameter. An emory round paper strike is attached underneath the base. Although strike-anywhere matches are much harder to find today and are not considered safe. These holders continued to be manufactured and many reproductions exist today. Antique Fairing Pug Dog Ceramic Box Match Safe Victorian Vintage Trinket
This is an antique Fairing match safe with a pug dog figurine on the lid. There are diamond shapes on the 4 corners in blue. And gold flecks over the surface of both top and bottom. It does not show in the picture, but on the inside of the top, there are ridges to be used to strike matches. On the bottom of the base are the numbers 3508 and underneath that, 141. There are no cracks, chips or crazing that I can see. This item stands about 3 1/2 inches tall. This is perfect for any collector of match safes or Fairing ware. I accept PayPal only. ANTIQUE GERMAN 800 SILVER MATCH SAFE W/RAISED PARTY SCENERY
Antique German 800 silver match holder with raised decoration of party scenery and dancing. Only the outer decorated cover of the holder is 800 silver. The inner holding box with slide out drawer is plated metal. In the closed position the matchsafe is 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1/2" thick. The silver is in good condition with no dings or dents. All raised relief is crisp and well defined. Stamped 800 with German crown and crescent mark. The inner slide out box shows plate loss and wear at one end. Enlarge pics for best details.
