It does not function due to damage incurred in shipping. The unit has several breaks and cracks in its chassis as well as a couple of missing parts in the front output tray. Although the unit is about%99 complete. The unit powers on like it should and I assume that parts like the main boards, and other smaller parts as well as the bottom tray can be salvaged. For sale is a used Pitney Bowes DI200. This unit is working. However, I feel that it needs a little maintanence. The felt pads that get wet to seal the envelopes need to be replaced for optimal performance and also the rollers may need to be replaced at some point, however, they are not showing any visible signs of wear that I can see and in faxct look to be in very good condition. I recommend using a mixture of 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% water or paying for the expensive"sealing liquid" I am deeply discounting the price of this unit simply because I don't want to spend the time and money to fix it up. I can send a video of it operating if you like. It DOES work in the condition that it is in now. We paid $1700 for this as a refurbished unit and used it to stuff approximately 60,000 envelopes. The ideal buyer would be someone ... morethat has experience in servicing these types of units. While it does work, I feel that a little work needs to be done to make it work perfectly. I acquired from a small business and as you can see in the video it works wonderfully. The solution tray for sealing is empty and will need to be filled. It works great but I do not know when it has had maintenance. It comes with the extra insert tray which most do not. With the extra tray these are selling for upwards of $1.000.
