For sale is a hand-cut guitar slide made in the USA from recycled materials. I made several of these for my own use and am selling some extras. The slide is made of brushed brass-finish steel. It is a little longer than most slides. Long enough to be turned over into the palm and used horizontally on a Dobro or steel guitar. It is also heavy, a little over 3 ounces, and produces great tone, especially when used on an acoustic instrument or with humbuckers. It's a little heavy for use on a guitar with very low action unless you have an extremely light touch. Size: Refer to the photos. Cut and mark a slip of paper as in photo#3. Roll it as in#4 and tape it to form a cylinder. This will be roughly the same inside diameter and length as the slide. Slip it onto your finger as in#5. If it fits. The slide should fit. When I did it, the paper ... moreslide was a little snug compared to the real thing, but close enough for comfort.
