Vintage Metal Picture Buttons Set of 4 Windmill Buildings Trees 3/4" Excellent!
These buttons are adorable! A set of four 3/4" metal buttons with brass or bronze toned raised designs depicting a windmill. Two tiny buildings and two trees. They have silver tone shank backs. I neglected to take a photo of all four but if you would like to see one please let me know and I'll be happy to oblige. They are. Essentially, identical. They came from an estate button box that contained buttons dating from the 1930s to approximately the 1980s and I would guess these are probably circa 1950s. They look unused but show a tiny bit of wear from being crowded into a box with other buttons and notions. They are being sold as is. Parakeetsforpeace You get the BEST from the BUDGIE Antique set TREE with background Windmill and Buildings metal picture button- a matching lot of 2 A matching set of two very detailed and raised picture buttons. The tree design is big- the buttons are just very detailed without being big- Main design is a wonderful large tree in the center whose branches/ leaves continue outward to form the border. In the back of the design. One can make out a Windmill on the left hand side of the tree, and another building on the right hand side in the background. Size: approx 3/4ths inch Condition: very good– again. I have not shined these, so they have a lovely aged patina. A bit hard for you to see all of the detail in the picture. But I did not know if I should polish, so I did not. Going through a button collection that spans 1800s to 1970s– very few ... more70s– I am trying to the best of my ability to accurately describe. Offered for sale are game pieces from a 1973 edition of Monopoly. These parts are great to use as replacement or spare pieces for your vintage game. The last copyright date on the rules sheet is 1973. The box and game board were in bad condition and I did not keep them but I thought the pieces listed below were worth saving. Included in this lot is: 5 metal tokens/ playing pieces- Iron. Man on Rearing Horse, Thimble, Shoe, Top Hat, 12 red plastic hotels, 29 green plastic houses, 2 Dice/ Die– do not match, 22 Property Cards, 4 Railroad Cards, 1 Electric Company Card, 1 Water Works Card, 16 Orange Chance Cards, 16 Yellow Community Chest Cards, Paper Money– 1s. 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s, ... more100s, and 500s, Rules– last copyright date is 1973, These pieces are 42 years old and some wear is to be expected but all in all they are in good vintage condition. The silver metal tokens are in good condition. Due to age and use. Some of the bright silver finish has worn away– there are no cracks or repairs. The two dice are in good condition but they do not match. I see no damage to the 12 red plastic hotels or the 29 green plastic houses. The property. Railroad, utility, Chance, and Community Chest cards have no tears, but there are some creases and corner bumps from use and rubber band storage. The paper money is in used condition with some wear to some of the bills(creases. Tiny edge tears) most look in good condition but I did not go through bill by bill. The folding rules pamphlet is in good condition– no tears or stains. But there are some light creases and the girls who owned this game previously wrote their name in pencil at the top.
