Okay. Here's the story. A guy I was acquainted with had a construction business and in recent days began to have lots of financial trouble. He needed some money so I loaned him money against this bobcat. The engine is BRAND new. It has been started but runs rough. They used the distributor from the old engine along with some other parts. I had it checked out by a garage, they told me the gas was old and bad. I am not going to put money into something I can't possibly use as a minister. The old owner had the unit painted and new decals put on it as well as the new engine. He had a receipt for the engine to the tune of 2500 and labor to install it was nearly 900. The paint and decal kit came to an additional 700 dollars. The unit in good running condition is worth about 7500. The tandem axle trailer, with 1/2 tread tires goes with it(no ... moreramps) I would value it at 350 dollars. it also comes with a bucket that's in good condition. not all bent up, valued at 500 dollars. Total value as it is should be around 3950 dollars. This unit is exactly as I received it. Sadly. I know only what I've shared. It is being sold as is. It is a little dusty but nothing broken. Cracked or bent. You can see from the pictures this is not the plain model, I think it is an early prestige model. I have had this toy for about ten years I think so I don't remember but you can see the hood on the rear open and the side panels come off to see the engine. The cab also raises on the machine. This machine has a 38 HP kubota diesel 4cylinder engine that runs great it is running in the photos and does not smoke, it operates very good, doesnt creep when sitting and running, steers good, has a New holland quick tach. on it with a 5 and a half foot bucket, the bucket has been reinforced it good and works good but is not new will last for many years, the machine has 5261 hours on it, all the lights work, parking brake works, the paint is new it was professionally painted, the rims are like new, tires are 10/16.5 and are 90% or better and like new, the seat belt safety still works, has glow plugs for cold weather starting that do work, the machine weighs around 4400 pounds, I am not sure what it will lift but I would ... moreguess around 1300 to 1400 pounds. Great for landscaping as its easy to haul and half the weight of most loaders. The 753 pictured in the ad is my other one and it is heavy. Hard to haul and tears up the grass. The 543 with its smooth tires and lighter wright is able to operate on grass without ripping it up. They do not leak and although worn down are perfect for around the house. Bobcat 843 Skidsteer Loader Runs but Needs Engine Work Mechanics Project
Up for auction is a Bobcat 843 Skidsteer Loader that runs but needs engine work. Here's the story- the operator was leveling a driveway when the engine began to knock. He immediately stopped the Bobcat to check the oil level and found it to be extremely low. What he realized was that there was oil leaking from somewhere in the engine compartment leading to the low oil level. He refilled the crankcase and started the unit up to drive it on the trailer. The only time the unit was started since it was shut down due to the knock was to drive on and off the trailer and to take a short video of the unit running. Which I can send if you are interested. Please bid only if you are going to finalize the deal, the last bidder reniged. It has the 55HP Isuzu engine, all hydraulics work fine. There are no cracks anywhere I can see where they typically ... morecrack like on the boom and the front support of the machine. Tires are fair, paint is fair. The front of the boom and unit are rusted. The bucket needs some work, there is minor rot through along the front rim, probably needs a plate welded over the bottem. We used it as it was, but we were not in the construction business and the unit was only lightly used during the time we owned it. Very sharp machine. Ready to work! Will require $100 PayPal deposit within 24 hours or I will relist. The rest can be discussed after auction. For sale is my 257B that I bought to use around the house. This has been a very solid machine but I'm done with it and don't need it anymore. I installed a new battery and alternator this year as well as the door latch. Also just put new 100w bulbs in the front lamps. Both back lamps and brake lights work. Very bright at night. Just had the AC system gone through(drier. Expansion valve, vacuum with new freon) and the AC blows hard at 40 degrees. Just changed hydraulic oil and filter, engine oil and filter, fuel filter, and air filter. Everything is kept greased. Only problems that I know of with the machine are the hand throttle not working(only foot pedal) And the battery will die over time ... moreHOWEVER I installed a battery disconnect switch that keeps the battery from draining. Also the front wiper is missing. Tracks are in very good condition with no tears and all teeth for the sprockets to catch- but I think two of the small idler pulleys will need to be replaced. Bobcat Skidsteer Loader 773G
This is a Bobcat 773G skidsteer loader. THe machine was decaled as a S185. But it is in fact a 773G. The machine is in very good condition It starts and runs great, is nice and tight and has very good tires on it. The machine is equipped with cab and heat, auxillary hydraulic, and bolt-on cutting edge. Everything works on it including the lights. This machine has always been garaged. We are selling it because it is surplus to our needs. Overall, it is a very nice unit.
