I have also hatched the Khaki Campbell mix from them which has produced a very tall runner duckling( which we call Bandit.Because he looks like he has a mask on) that eats as much grass as Indian runners and has as much meat as Khaki Campbells and is almost the size of my Pekin ducklings. I have also hatched pure Indian Runner ducklings. It just depends on which drake mated with the Indian Runner duck hens. Both breeds are very abundant egg layers. Ginger alone in the phoenix breed is something only 2-3 peopel in the USA have. It is an extremely rare gene which makes pretty much an all white male bird with a black tail. The hens look similare to a silver duckwing hen just with a white breast. Now add in the blue gene which turns all the black feathers blue and you do have a truely beatiful and rare color in the phoenix not just in the USA but anywhere. The blue gene is very rare in all long tailed fowl so do miss you chance if you have been looking to add it into your breeding program. These lines both have some of the extremely rare German Ismer line's phoenix blood in them as well, which gives them a stance and type seen in no US stock lines! 1947/48 WALKER REMEDY COMPANY Flyer and Calendar This is an unused paper flyer created by the Walker Remedy Company in Waterloo. Iowa. It has ads for several products used by poultry farmers: Walko Tablets, Walko Lice Powder, Walko Tonix, and Walko Poultry Large Roundworm Expeller. When the flyer is fully opened it has a 12 month calendar for March 1947 to February 1948 with a big picture of a smiling blond-haired little girl holding a chick. Closed. The flyer is 5¼" by 8¼" Fully opened, the calendar is 10½" by 16½" It is in excellent unused condition. There is a little color-bleeding(there shouldn't be blue on the girl's arms) but it still looks great.

Vintage Taylor Thermometer This is the Taylor Roast Meat and Poultry thermometer. First manufactured in the 1930s~ this one is likely from the 1950s. Beautiful shape. And so clean it does not seem to have ever been put to use. There are no old grease spots. Which you might expect if it had been used in the oven with a roast. The face of the thermometer is metal. Covered with enamel. The enamel is in very good shape, with no pitting. There are just a few spots along the edges where the enamel did not adhere as well as it does to the face. The back is free from grease or dirt. The glass is in great shape with no cracks. The thermometer seems to work just fine-of course. I did not test it in a roast, but when I held it under hot water. Triple steel rivets are secure with light scratches/dullness from age. This knife is not perfect that is why I am offering it a such a low starting price. But I’m sure it still has lots of use in it. There is severe scratching to the blade from frequent sharpening over the years and there are also few nicks in the blade. This butcher knife is a must have in every kitchen.
