Ginger alone in the phoenix breed is something only 2-3 peopel in the USA have. It is an extremely rare gene which makes pretty much an all white male bird with a black tail. The hens look similare to a silver duckwing hen just with a white breast. Now add in the blue gene which turns all the black feathers blue and you do have a truely beatiful and rare color in the phoenix not just in the USA but anywhere. The blue gene is very rare in all long tailed fowl so do miss you chance if you have been looking to add it into your breeding program. These lines both have some of the extremely rare German Ismer line's phoenix blood in them as well, which gives them a stance and type seen in no US stock lines! NEW JERSEY VINELAND CHICKEN FARM GREATEST POULTRY AREA IN EAST LINEN POSTCARD
This is a vintage linen era post card. Postally unused, circa 1930's- 1940's. Please note, I am not sure if this is a pre-linen or a later one. The back looks like a white border card, but the front kind of looks like a linen. Card shows a chicken farm in Vineland New Jersey. Card is published by Lynn H. Boyer Philadelphia. PA and Wildwood New Jersey. C.T. American Art Colored. The overall condition is good or better. Always check corners and edges for possible wear(see scan) Card has very minor edge and corner wear. As grading is subjective, please look at scan for faults/defects. A postally unused card may have writing on the reverse. Linen postcards are really colorful. You can tell that a card is a"linen" because you can actually see the raised grain of the paper in the image. Linens were produced from the early thirties ... morethrough the forties. At this time. New American printing processes allowed for the printing of postcards on paper with inks that allowed for the use of bright dyes in image coloring. They proved to be extremely popular. Linen postcards document the building of America's new highway infra-structure and the roadside(motels, restaurants, etc) establishments seeking cheap advertising, were quick to see the opportunity. The most known of the early linen publishers, was the Curt Teich Company. The majority of linen postcard production ended around 1939 with the advent of the color"chrome" postcard. Some companies lingered on through the 1940's. The postcard view is now highly sought after by many institutions(including The Smithsonian) and individuals. As it serves as a historical record of the past. Be it the view of a town main street, the local church, school, roadside attraction or the countryside, the post card mirrors the way our parents, grandparents and even we, once lived. This is a used Biro saw that is in very great condition. The saw has a new blade. New off/ on switch, new safety switch, and new wiring. It is a single phase 110 unit. The item has wear and tear from regular use and some blemishes and scratches are expected. This item is in working condition. There are no returns on this item so please take caution when purchasing.
