It has some tiny holes to seams apart or small rips all over the outfit. Not a lot, most of this is still good. I try and show in the pictures. This has 3 bands of elastic along the bottom of the pants too. But it is pretty much dry rotted. I do believe this is vintage, not sure of the year though. Also I believe this is hand made. Not sure of the size, check measurements. I do believe it is an adult size though. The color is a orange/yellowish color. Has a drawstring around the waist of the pants. 10 Antique Vintage HONEY BEE HIVE Foundation Frames Shallow & Deep Super, Apiary
These are 10 antique/ vintage wooden frames found in a farmer's barn. Foundation frames are typically wired and covered with a thin sheet of beeswax that honey bees use as a foundation to start making honeycombs that they fill with honey. Two of these are about 17 3/4 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall and would fit in a shallow super. Seven of these are about 17 3/4 inches wide and 9 1/4 inches tall and would fit in a deep super. One of these is 17 3/4 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches wide and would fit in a medium super. These old frames are not in bad condition. Most could use some extra glue and nails and sanitization if you plan on using them for bees. There are still traces of honeycomb on these and they aren't completely clean and solid. I rinsed the dust off and gave them a once over with soapy water but that's all I did to ... moreclean them.I fixed up 10 of these old frames and put them in my hive and they are holding up pretty well but are not the strongest frames in the world. I am using them for brood- I don't think these would hold up during the rigors of extraction. There are a few slats missing here and there. And there are some cracks. There are still some nails and wires sticking out on some, so please be careful when you open the package. The wood has a nice patina from age and beeswax and I also think that these would be fun to use for crafts. Maybe picture frames as a gift for your favorite beekeeper? Thanks for looking!
