Up for your consideration is a fancy 19th century Rare Hitching Post. This post has the Victorian Ladies Heads going around. All molded in Cast Iron detail. There is one side bare and we are not sure if it had a head there or was just the side facing into the property. The paint is badly worn, but we have left it all original for the new owner to deside about the restoration.There are some losses to the sides, but they are not noticeable. This is a full size post standing about 39" tall by 8" square. We have not found a foundry mark, but there may be one on it underneath. I just purchased this pair at a local coast estate sale and was told they were very old& have been together for as long as they could remember. I am not an expert on these type of things but they appear to be very old. The detail is very good and not like the copies you see. Each figure has two screws on back side. One on head& one on base. I showed this pair to a friend who is more into this type of art and was told by the thick flat screw and detail there was for sure age to them. Again, I am not sure of exact age. The glass is free of chips and cracks. The hands are straight and they run smooth. The face appears to be in good condition. The metal case is free of any dents or breaks. Although. There is minor surface rust. The light works great. The plastic advertising insert has very clear graphics. The insert, however, does have a crack a cross the face. The clock will be shipped without the fluorescent bulb to avoid breakage.

Perfect for those that are looking for a rustic western decor as well, or those that enjoy restoration of old tools, or are preparing for a survival situation. I will describe each below. The largest is a 16lb head. It measures 5 inches wide, 4 1/4 inches tall and has a 1 3/4's inch handle hole. It has a_M_ mark on it's side. The second is a 13lb head that measures 4 1/2's inches wide. And is 3 1/2 inches thick. It has a 1 1/2 inch handle hole. Vintage Cast Iron Jockey Fence Post Hitching Post
This wonderful jockey hitching post is 13" tall and 3 1/2" wide at the bottom. He weighs 13 lb. 11.8 oz. There is a round hole on the bottom that measures 1 7/8" inside diameter and 1 1/16" deep. With a single screw hole on the back. The paint is clearly original but as you can see from the photos there are lots of spots of rust. I got him at an antique shop a long time ago and he has been sitting in a box for many years. There are no markings that I can find. He has a green shirt and cap, white pants with red undertones, black boots, belt, collar, and hair. The area between his legs is faded blue in the front and black in the back, and the stand he is on is black/blue with a little green. His left cheekbone isn't smooth like the right one but I'm pretty sure that was original to the piece and not damage. He is ... moreholding a black rod of some kind and that is the only place I see any kind of a seam except I suspect the arms were soldered onto the body after it was cast but before being painted. This is all just my observation to give you a better idea of what he looks like and to help you analyze the photos better.

This is in the shape of what looks to be an acorn. At first glance I thought it was a pineapple shape, but the bottom looks as if it is the cap on an acorn. It stands approximately 8" tall and the opening on the bottom is approximately 2- 3/8" by 3- 1/8" This is a heavy old piece and most likely should be shipped via USPS Priority Mail in a flat rate box. This looks as if it was painted gray at one time. This has been in my collection for many years but now it is time to downsize. Here we have a Used. Rhino PD-50 Post Driver. Works Good. Comes with the Trigger and Automatic Oiler with approx. 7 feet of 300 psi Hose. The hose has a few cracks in it, just above the trigger(Pictured) that section could be cutaway or replaced. The Driver has a 2-1/2" insert in it now. Works Great for T-Posts or Posts measuring up to 2-1/2" in diameter. The 2 Bolts at the bottom of the driver hold the insert in place. If removed, you can drive posts up to 3-1/2" in diameter. Vintage Cast Iron Carriage Horse Head Bust for Fence Post Cap Here is a great piece for your horse lovers out there. Would make a great addition to any collection. Recently picked the piece up at an auction This piece was made originally to set on a fence post as the head piece and it obviously did somewhere before I picked it up. Was rusty. But not too pitted from the exposure to the elements for some decades. Just gave it a good spraying with WD-40 to protect it from further corrosion. Nice detailing on the horse head. The horse is all harnessed up ready to take someone for a carriage ride. The cap the cast horse is attached to acts as a great base for the piece and has nice decorative detailing on it as well. The piece with the way the cap was made for the piece sits nicely on any flat surface. Does not need to be on a post. Just would ... moreneed to protect the surface it is sat on from the roughness of the cast iron. This is a very heavy piece. There is some sort of maker/model number on the back of the bust where it joins the base. Appears to be BO 160907. Only damage I see to it is a small piece of the cast iron hanging down from the yolk simulating a leather strap lost some of its' end. Chip to the front of the horse's right ear, and some minor chipping of the corners of the base. The cast iron horse head and base stands 17.75" tall. 5.25" across at the base, and 5.5" wide. The piece is about 6" wide when you take in the horse's snout extending further than the base. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
