Our birds have the lovely copper color on their necks and nicely feathered legs. I do want to make sure you know that occasionally. When dealing with genetics, a clean legged chick can surface. There are other hidden genes that can surface, for instance a white feather, that our breeders do not have but that we have seen pop up in chicks occasionally. The white feathers always disappear after the first molt. I am very proud of our breeders and the fantastic copper color they show and the dark eggs they produce! There are a few different crosses that will produce Olive Eggers but this one is my favorite.
