Royal Winton Grimwades Beehive Sugar Shaker
A beautiful 1930's Royal Winton Grimwades Beehive Sugar Shaker. Vibrantly coloured. The shaker has pink and lavender Hollyhock flowers climbing up it's sides and bees around the hive, both in relief. The base has the Royal Winton Grimwades mark and contains the original cork stopper. Whilst generally in excellent condition the base has some crazing commensurate with age and two chips. One is an old chip actually on the base and when displayed hardly shows. The other is just above the base and is 3 x 3mm. With both chips being close together, the shaker can easily be displayed with them both to the rear out of view. See photos for detail. This damage is reflected in the starting bid price. This Danish Pottery is old. it is brown and has intricate lines painted on it. IT looks very mid century in design to me and is authentic not reproduction. Please look closely and zoom in to see it. it is a vase and has a beehive. Denmark, and the numbers 1672. it is round, and is 5" high and 19 1/2" around. It has no cracks or chips. It is black inside the pattern is very intricate and detailed. Very percise and professional. A very nice 19th century stoneware vinsiet jug. Cream color with blue impressed lettering stating the merchants name and address. E Paquet. Marchand Epicier. Vins et Liqueurs. 16 Rue Dalhousie. Basseville. Quebec. Basseville is the older part of Quebec. First settled in the 1600's. Rich with history. It measures 11 in. 27.9 cm) tall x 7 in. 17.8 cm) across at the base. It looks to be about 1 gallon. It is in very good condition with the exception of a chip on the top of the spout as shown in the picture. Some of the bluing has worn off of the lettered impressions. It does not have a plug. A very collectable jug and a great decorative piece. Google Cruches de ville for a reference. Hard to come by. From an estate of a long time collector.

For your consideration is an amazing looking 4 ¾” tall by 5 ¼” wide(across the base) silver plate beehive style honey pot that was made by the Corbell& Company in Los Angeles. California, circa. This is a high-end quality piece that was made by the company, circa, 1980’s, that has intricate lines, designs, and finial atop the lid. The Corbell& Company was original founded in London. England, back in 1946. However by 1951, the company relocated to Los Angeles, California. They were(and still are) known for their ability to produce high-end quality reproductions of 18th to 19th Century silver pieces, which even included some hotel silver. With this bee hive piece, it is a high quality copy of the original done circa, 1800, by Paul Storr called the“honey pot” With this particular piece. You can see that the bottom mount is ... moreactually done in the“Ribbon& Thread” style, which is seen mostly on railroad, hotel, and steamship silver plate. The sides of the holder also are done to make it actually look like a beehive. Atop the lid is a bee and a flower finial that greatly adds to the character of this most marvelous piece. When the piece was produced. I believe it retailed for about $265.00. It may have had a glass insert, but I cannot confirm that. On the bottom it has the“C&CO. hallmark with the addition of“EP” for“Electro-Plate” a form of silver soldered– silver plate) This piece is very heavy and is like hotel, restaurant, and railroad silverplate. It has the usual light usage scratches, some silver plate wear to the bottom, a few pitting marks to the outer rim, has not been cleaned and still has some residue in the inside, etc. But overall, is in quite the amazing piece! A very unusual sterling silver topped match striker. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with the maker’s marks possibly being AB&Co for Albert Baker a known tobacconist of the period. But after we polished it, the overall look is great. The bottom of the copper behive has a dent on one side that you can see in the first three photos shown above. Up for bids is a Vintage 1959 Heavy Oak Handmade Beehive Cask Barrel Decanter that I picked up at a local estate sale. This appears to have been a Liquor/Wine/Liquer Decanter but it also may have held honey since the Cask is shaped like a beehive. Painted on the top front in nice white letters is"1959 Recuerdo de Mendoza" and across the bottom is painted. Roble A. Cpcd 2 Lts. which with my poor spanish I read to mean"Oak with Capacity of 2 Litres. The Cask has an unusual design with a small ladder attached to the front. I'm not sure of the signifigance of that ladder. Perhaps this Cask represents a Water Tower but I'm not sure. ... moreIf some kind eBayer recognizes this and can tell me more about it. An early 1Gal. Beehive Jug. Northeast US, ca.1870. This is a sturdy, well-made Jug with applied strap handle; glazed in rich, brown Albany Slip. Probably not for whiskey or liquor, this Keeper still retains the very faint smell of dark molasses. This little 1Gal. is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repaired damage. The glaze shows a bit of minor, age-appropriate wear; and has a few skips and drips. Also, a thumbprint and some light fry on the handle and spout; and a 3/4" crescent-shape scratch near the base(see close-ups) Overall, an excellent 19thC. Slip-Glazed Beehive. Vienna Beehive Vase Planter Bowl Egg Shaped PERFECT FOR EASTER!!!
I believe this is Royal Vienna but not 100% sure. It is a very unusual Egg Shaped Vase. That measures approx 6 long x approx 4 wide. And about 5 high at the higher point. There are no chips or cracks. It looks like the accent paint for the couple is hand painted as it is raised from the glaze. The gold is all still in nice shape on the rim, it is a little worn on the legs, however that may have been how it was fired. This is an antique piece so the porcelain will not have the perfections of todays pieces. There is a little dirt on the inside of the feet, it may come off with a little more work and I think there was some kind of sticker on the bottom as there appears to be some remnants of adhesive. Vintage Warning Clearance Beehive Red Light Pyrex
This vintage warning light red lens was made by Pyrex in the USA. The beehive dome stands 4 1/2" tall and is about 4" in diameter. The light takes 4 1129. 12V bulbs. The metal base has had a few bumps. There is some paint on the base and the globe. The globe has been bumped and has two scars too show for it. The photos show them. There are some dents and dings that can be turned to the back when displayed or be restored depending on your preference. Vintage Arnart Tea Set. This is a dainty set please see measurements below. Vibrant coloring. Gold trimmed. All pieces marked with Beehive emblem on bottom, pattern 1146. Scene of couple courtship on each piece. This displays very nicely as a set. This set is in excellent condition but one piece which has very small chip as shown in last picture. 1) Teapot with lid. This stands 8" tall to top of lid top. 4) Small teacups. These stand 2" tall, the mouth of cups measure 2 1/2" wide.
