This beehive jug measures 17” tall x 11” in diameter. This jug would have been considered in MINT condition but recently the spout was chipped which measures about 1 1/8” in length. This game bowl is beautifully decorated with birds and flowers and measures a substantial 13 ⅝ inches across. Pheasants sit in the center, rimmed in gold with various other species around the rim including a turkey to display at Thanksgiving. Colorful flowers separate the birds and all of this beautiful artwork is outlined in gold gilt. Now, this bowl does have some problems. It has cracks at the base. Lot of 4 Libbey Sirrus Violet Lavender Beehive Ribbed Goblets Discontinued 1999
Offered for your consideration is a lot of four large. Tall, beautiful beehive goblets produced by Libbey and finally discontinued in 1999. Goblets measure 7 3/8” tall. 3 ¾” across the lip, and 3” across the base. Libbey’s cursive“L” is impressed in their base. Color is most intense at the base, and especially so around the edge of the base, with each goblet a little different from the other one. There is an iridescent quality around the edge of the base that captures and reflects the light back up the goblet, punctuated by each successive rib or ring. The color diminishes in intensity as it makes its way up the glass to light lavender around the rim. The glasses are pre-owned and have been much loved. No nicks. Cracks, or mineral deposits. Boy are these getting harder to find. The shakers are in wonderful shape no chips and the lettering is in really good shape for these shakers seeing as how they are 80 years old or older they look great. Now the lids are in nice shape just a couple small dings. ones a bit shiner than the other but all in all great shape. The salt does have some mold roughness on the bottom it isn't a chip. the Pepper looks like something metal may have scratched it going down the ribs. I've tried to show both flaws and the lid flaws in the photos. I do my best to discribe items I don't want someone to be unhappy with their purchase. This is a small porcelain cobalt dresser box with a scene on the top that depicts Sir John Falstaff and Alice Ford. They were characters in the opera Falstaff. Which was adapted from a Shakespeare play. The box is 3 ½ inches in diameter and 2 inches high. The scene on the top of the box is a transfer. The box has an under glaze mark on the bottom of a beehive. We believe this may have been made by the B Bloch& Co. of Bohemia. It dates to the late 19 th or early 20 th century. Royal Vienna Beehive mark Portrait chocolate pot and four cups Up for auction is a beautiful Austrian Royal Vienna chocolate pot and four cups. The pot as well as the cups have a picture of a lovely lady. Countess Potacka. The detail is very nice. I believe that this is transferware but hand painted on the embelishments and signed by the artist. The cups all have Monreau signed on the lower right side of the picture on the cups. The pot is 9" tall to include the finial and 7" wide, handle to spout. The cups are 3" tall and 4" wide to include the handle. The porcelain is very nice and thin as quality porcelain should be. It appears that the green and the pink as well as the gold are hand painted on these items. Please note the backstamp. I got this item from an estate sale in southern Georgia. The lady that owned this had ... moremany outstanding old antiques. I could not find any chips, breaks, or repairs on this piece. It is a stunning set for display. This is an auction for a lot of(8) Royal Vienna repro 6” cabinet plates with the beehive mark. The image is by the artist Nieulant. There are two different portraits. 5) plates are of one portrait and(3) are of another portrait. 6) of the plates have the beehive mark as well as the number 18 on the bottom. 1) plate has no marks and it has a very slightly different flower pattern. 1) plate has the beehive mark as well as a Schwarzburg double eagle mark. This plate also has a slightly different flower pattern. The different flower patterns are not immediately noticeable. But there is a difference. Most of the plates have a few or several of the pink flower petals rubbed off over the years. There are also some rubbings on the inner ring most likely from stacking the plates over time. Austrian Pitcher Royal Vienna type Beehive mark lovely colors circa 1890-1910 or earlier. This is a pretty elegant pitcher with the Vienna blue beehive mark. It has a nice shape and is decorated with green.Pink, and red colors and with great gold accents. It is marked on the bottom. MAKER: It is marked on the underside with a beehive and a signature which I can't make out. See photo. THE IMPERIAL AND ROYAL PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY USED THE BINDENCHILD MARK EITHER PRINTED OR IMPRESSED. AS DID OTHER FACTORIES. All'beehive' marks are ambiguous and problematic because over the years many European porcelain manufacturers'borrowed' it or invented their own variation. Thus making identification very difficult. In 1902. Alexandra Porcelain Works Ernst Wahliss in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia also bought molds from Imperial and Royal factory ... moreand began making reproductions, which also are clearly marked. The Wahliss factory produced very high quality innovative pieces, and many are in this style. Bohemian factories that used the mark are: Alexandra Porcelain Works Ernst Wahliss(Turn-Teplitz/Trnovany) B Bloch& Co(Dubi/Eichwald) and Fischer, as well as others. I have seen several Pitchers in a similar style as this pitcher from 1890's with the blue beehive mark. I can not be certain of the maker and it could be even earlier than 1890. Description: This pitcher or ewer is beautifully painted and gilded with a colorful designs on a striking background. This decoration is very rich and elegantly gilded. Figural Couple on the front and floral patterns on a ground. Accented with details Gilded. Various elements are outlined in gold with a pronounced relief. It features much gilding and rich colors. Size: Measures approximately 5 inches high. Beautiful and Interesting piece for Porcelain Lovers. Date: From research it appears to be at least 1890's. We are offering for sale a wonderful 1900-1920's Royal Vienna dessert chocolate/ coffee pot in the Alhambra pattern. The colors are rich and vivid. With gilding and jeweling, and the central panel features a woman with a cherub at her shoulder. At the bottom of the base, the Austrian Beehive mark is visible. This Royal Vienna piece is in excellent condition. With no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. There is some fading to the gilding, such as on the handles of the pot and the lid(please see photos) The Royal Vienna pot measures 10-1/2" high with the lid in place. And approximately 6-1/2" across from the widest point to the handle. The base measures 3-3/8" across and the bulb bottom measures approximately 5-1/2" across. At the top of the pot, the mouth measures 3-5/8" across at the outer perimeter, and 4-5/8" ... moreacross including the lip.
