I purchased a swarm trap but it didn't work very well so I did some research on what bees ... morelook for in a new home and built some of these and they work great. Now I am having them built to sell to other Beekeepers. The trap is completely assembled. The hanger cross members are not attached so it can be shipped. It just takes 8 screws to reassemble it. The trap will hold 8 deep hive frames. If the frames have some comb on them that's better. But not necessary. Don't put frames with brood or honey in the trap. Mount the hanging bracket to a tree at least 6 feet high with 2 screws. Then set the swarm box on top and wrap the bungee cord around the trap and hanging bracket so the wind won't blow it off. Put about 3 drops of lure just inside the entrance and refresh every 7 days. When you have caught some bees. Wait until just before dark when all the bees are in the trap and close the dial entrance and tighten the wing nut. Take the bungee cord and wrap it around the trap to hold the top on while transporting it. All you have to do is take them to their new location, lift out the frames of bees and put them in their new home. Then the trap can be used again. The bees you caught made it thru the winter in your area and know how to survive. You can't buy better bees anywhere else. Always treat your bees with VARROA MITE CONTROL(sold on Ebay) as soon as you get them in a hive to keep them from spreading any deseases they might have. The VARROA MITE CONTROL will get them off to a good healthy start. Put the trap up in an area with a lot bees. I put up these swarm traps in my bee yards so I can catch the swarms from my own bees. If I take bees out of a house. I ask the owner if I could put up a swarm box so the bees won't return to the house. When I go get a swarm, I ask the landowner if I can put up a swarm box the next year. When you catch a swarm of bees you are not only a beekeeper but now are a honeybee trapper. The blender in this model is usually from the 40s in the Beehive style. I have seen them in white and stainless. This was made by John Oster Manufacturing Co. Milwaukee, WIS) old school Wisconsin and made in U.S.A. I have also seen the signature KIPP GM on some of the parts. This is a juicer. Slicer, and shredder and comes with the one blade pictured. This is 7" Round x 8" Hi gh and features: Heavy cast base Bakelite top with feeder Stainless steel spout Aluminum strainer Gears turn freely Clean& ready to use There is normal wear from use. Also it states on the label to not immerse in water because of the gears and I noticed that the 3 screws underneath have been removed& replaced quite a bit from the marks on them. My best guess is the previous owner must have removed this part for washing when they used it because it is heavy. There is not a manual with this. It may have said to do this but I can't be sure. I like to share"fun" finds found mainly at estate sales and auctions. Most of my items are vintage and can be in'vintage' condition. I try to note minor to major flaws in my description if there are any. Please refer to pictures for a second source of information. There are no marks on the inside on clock works. It measures 5 inches tall. 3 3/4 inches wide and about 2 1/4 inches deep. It is in very nice condition, only one very small chip to one blue flower on bottom(see picture) The other flowers look very good- it may look like large yellow flower is chipped but it is not. Inscribed on the inside door has the markings. 303HR and 5-1-36(I do not know who inscribed this) The key has HR 51270 West Germany on it. I do not know the age of this clock. Center hole that passes from top to bottom. Looks to have a metal insert inside the center hole from the bottom up how far? Don’t know. Appears to be hand carved used to hold yarn in the mill during the manufacturing process. Great patina and makes a great candle holder. 12’ tall and 2 ½” diameter base and 2” diameter at top. Two made in Germany pate or aspic jelly Moulds- I believe the design is asparagus Or flowers in a basket. This is the kind of thing that would have been used in downtown abbey. The smaller one is in much better condition. There appears to be no chips or cracks on the smaller mold. On the back it is stamped 5655 space 0. It also says G T M co Germany and 813-1 It has a beehive stamped into it. The base is 3 inches and the height is just shy of 5 inches or 4 3/4 inches. RARE Early WMF Cocktail Shaker. Collector's Item: OSTRICH BEEHIVE MARK PRE 1914 Description PLEASE SEE ALL MY PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH ALSO FORM PART OF MY ITEM DESCRIPTION HAPPY TO POST WORLDWIDE This is a very rare EARLY 20TH CENTURY WMF cocktail shaker- it has an early ostrich and beehive mark with the letter G below- this mark was used by WMF between 1910- 18. And used on a lot of items produced for export to the French market. I cant find another example of a cocktail shaker by WMF with this pared down design with a lid with moveable pins to open. The shaker separates at the first ring on the exterior(as shown) you fill up with your selection of cocktail ingredients and give it a good shake about. Inside is a built in strainer- which can also be removed for cleaning- it remains lovely and shiny with small holes all over to stop any nasty ... morefruit pips or slurry going into your drink. To pour the lid pulls up- which is also built into the top and voila! The design is very simple and stylish- and if the mark did not relate to a date of pre-1918- I would have thought that this fine piece of barware would have dated from the Art Deco period in the 20s or 30s and not to WWI. The only decoration is quite minimalistic- a shallow impressed ring around the neck and two simple studs on the outside which relates to where the strainer is held in place inside. It is certainly a strange use by WMF of metal- I am not actually 100% sure of what they were using on this piece- the exterior is a dull unpolished state- so not sure if this is some early type of dull silver plate or a dull pewter or alpacca type of metal. The external surface metal is not a soft one. Quite hard- I was wondering if it might have been an early prototype using the newly invented stainless made. so they would have been cutting edge in the design and materials used. Stainless steel was made in 1913- so this fits in with the dating on the mark on the base. The interior is by contrast nice and shiny- like chrome or a highly polished stainless

Antique Art Deco Clock Case For Parts/Repair! From the estate of a clock maker. Beehive style. In distressed antique condition and not in working condition as we are selling only the bare bones clock case with some surface scratching and dings throughout the case. There is no clock face. Works or any other mechanical parts to the clock. The back door to the clock is in rough shape- One of the hinges has come loose from the door and the veneer is coming apart and the door is rather warped. Nice for parts. See photos!
