I cleaned all the controls& switches. Calibrated to a test piece I assembled, tested all the vacuum tubes with my Hickock dynamic tube tester. It is in really good shape& accurate. It is supplied with 2 scope probes& a scope input cable that I made up for BNC scope inputs. I also made up a calibration circuit that is included.not to mention the operation manual in paperback. The first picture is the calibration waveform using a circuit that was built according to factory specs. The second waveform is an FM discriminator curve with the 10.7 MHZ marker in the center. I think that the stated accuracy of the shunt was originally listed by L&N at 0.04% I performed a rough comparison to it with my 100A 10mOhm shunt and in comparison its resistance value appears to be within 0.04% of 1mOhm. Of course this is not a to be considered a calibration simply a functional check. The previous owner of the shunt appears to have maintained it in an oil bath as the wooden base has a slight oily scent and feel. No test leads.
