Two Transmation meters. From my late fathers collection of tools. The 1020 takes 5 nine volt batteries(not included) The needle does jump when loaded with batteries and the top knob is turned. The 1040 needs new batteries. However when I plugged it in last(5 years ago) they took a charge and the meter functioned. As the batteries are dated 1986 I am sure new ones will spark the unit right up. I have no idea how to test these and for that reason I am placing a low starting bid with no reserve.
