Howard Personalizer Hot Stamping Model 45 / 150 Imprinting System Font & Extras
This is an auction(no reserve) for a Howard Personalizer. Model 45, Imprinting Machine. Billed as'The world's most versatile imprinting machine! This item comes complete with everything shown. This machine is in'like new' condition. It appears to have literally only been used a handful of times. I can tell this a number of ways. 1) physically and operationally it's in perfect condition; 2) the item shipped originally with 15 brand new rolls of foil. And there are 15 unopened rolls of foil in the holder; 3) the one section of foil going through the machine has what appears to be'test impressions' made in it. You can see where the new owner heated up a block of random symbols to test out her machine. Also, one full block of'picture dies' is still taped up, completely unused. The only thing in the die holder ... moreis the'other' block of picture dies used to test the machine. Machine suffers on ly from a bit of dust from being stored so long. Even that is minor. This is the model 45. it looks a lot like a 1 50 and I'm not completely sure what the differences between the two models are. All I know is that from the spec sheets included. The 45 was the more expensive model of the two. The 45 retailed for $1,425 and the 1 50 retailed for a bit less. At $1,200. Beyond the prices, I can't say how the models differ. But this appears to be near the top of the line for Ho ward. It has a 5" imprint area. The 1 50 has only a 3 1/2" impr int area. I guess that's about the only difference I can see. But that's what. A 4 0% increase in printable area? That is a fairly significant increase. The original purchaser paid $1.700 for this rig. That's not a typo: t hey paid $1.700. The original in voice is included.
