Although I have an ... moreextensive background in machinery I have never used a foil stamping machine until I tested this one. I hooked it to a compressor and ran it. It heats up and I was able to stamp onto vinyl and leather and it seemed to work just fine. I really don’t know that much about this machine other than it works. I don’t know if it is performing as well as it was intended because I have no other machine to compare it to. It comes with a lot of extras type parts etc: See photo. Here is a site that has a far better understanding of the machine, and I believe they sell parts. Howard Hot Stamping Machine Extras- Hot Stamp- Foil- Type- like Kingsley This is a Howard Gold Stamping Machine from the company of the same name of Tampa. Florida. This machine will stamp in gold foil, gold leaf, metallic or colored foil onto leather, paper, vinyl, leather, napkins, pencils and many other surfaces. This set is complete, ready to go and it works great. The heating element has an adjustable thermostat and a thermometer. The process is straightforward. You set the type in the holder, warm up the machine to operating temperature using the automatic thermostat control, place the type holder in the machine and pull the handle toward you to hot stamp the foil on top of the item. The machine automatically advances the foil for the next impression. Or you can use a manual feeder. It does not take long to get the hang of it. This is for a big lot of kingsley foil rolls. Estate sale find. All rolls are original Kinglsey brand. Rolls might have been purchased in the late 90s and some during the 80s. Many of the gold and silver ones are clearly new and unused. The ones in the cardboard canisters have been used. Some have a lot still in them, some don't. It's a mixed lot. Mixed colors too. All come in their Kingsley cardboard boxes. One box is missing the lid oll others have it. The lot weighs 10 lbs plus I calculate another 3 packaged. Hence the shipping.
