Although I have an ... moreextensive background in machinery I have never used a foil stamping machine until I tested this one. I hooked it to a compressor and ran it. It heats up and I was able to stamp onto vinyl and leather and it seemed to work just fine. I really don’t know that much about this machine other than it works. I don’t know if it is performing as well as it was intended because I have no other machine to compare it to. It comes with a lot of extras type parts etc: See photo. Vintage Kingsley Model M-100-BA Machine. Unit powers on and red light glows on the POWERSTAT 100 watt variable autotransformer. The heating element got hot after a few minutes. Otherwise untested. Cloth covered cable is in good condition(no burns or tears that I noticed) Unit looks pretty clean overall. I am unsure if all parts are here; what you see is what I have. Kingsley hot foil stamping machine with 11 sets of type(SOME INCOMPLETE) Includes several Type Holders including a pen holder for curved face type. Some very old gold, white, and black foil( the gold still works very well) with other pads and attachments. We have been using this machine in our church bookstore the past 2 years and it works very well holding temperature at all settings. It is a older single line machine but has instructions included for two lines. I do not know if the necessary attachments are in the set to run 2 lines or not. The base plate has some corrosion(see photo) on it but the setup includes a cushion board which prevents the corrosion from being a problem. Vintage 1940s? Kingsley hot foil gold stamping machine. Serial no. 15512. Very early model without a model number, we think this is the first model they ever made. The power cord is indicative of 1940s appliances. It works perfectly and is amazingly complete. There are 5 boxes of foil, mostly unused, dated Nov. 1949. The pressed tin end of the cannisters says pat pend, there are 62 rolls of foil, mostly still sealed. The fonts are amazing and varied, there are 8 wooden boxes of them, styles are as follows: P.T. BARNUM lower case; P.T.BARNUM caps; 18 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS; 6 on 12 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS and Figures(numbers) 8 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS and figures; 24 point GOTHIC CAPS; NEWPORT MONOGRAMS; 18th Century initials. Vintage Kingsley M-50 M50 Embossing Printing Machine Works Hot Foil
Vintage Kingsley M-50 hot foil stamping embossing maching. Seems to be in working condition. The type holder is missing but it does heat up as seen in the picture. The lever works and it seems to advance the roll. The knob is missing on the heat control but the shaft turns as at should and it adjusts the heat. A replacement knob should be available at any hardware store. There looks to be a pad that sits below the cardboard pad that may be missing. Comes with instruction manual(the back cover is missing) and other literature. I will be listing a few type sets separately as well.

Kingsley foil big cigar box full GOLD vintage Hot stamping foil
Old cigar box with 9 rolls of Kingsley foil. I've taken a picture of the supply window of each roll so you can see that most all of these are mostly full of unused foil. Here is what we have two- 3" gold s; one is half full and the other is mostly full. 3" black full(has the remains of the new roll seal attached) 2" orange mostly full 2" silver mostly full 2" black half full 1" silver about one-quarter full 1" blue half full 1 1/2" brown half full shipping weight under two pounds. The shelf life is no doubt expired. So these are being sold without any guarantee of being suitable for any particular technology or purpose.
