KINGSLEY Machine Co(Hollywood. California) set of 12 PT AMERICANA Lower case type letters. The set appears to be NOS intact and unused as it is still sealed in the plastic wrap. The label on the front of the case states"betty and terry stevens 12 PT AMERICANA(Lower Case) The wood case has the original hinges and clasp. The wood case has some cracks/splits in the wood grain on the top near the front but it is held intact with the border. You could glue it to close the cracks but it probably is not necessary except to improve the cosmetic appearance. The listing is for three sets of older Kingsley Type. 12 Point Bernard Gothic and 14 Point Bernard Gothic. 14 point Huxley, caps only and 36 Point Bel Air Monogram. The 12 Point and 14 Point Bernard Gothic contain Capitals letters, Lower case letters, Numbers, Punctuation. The 14 Point Huxley Type is Caps only and the 36 Point Bel Air Monogram are Capitals only. All are in wood boxes and sit in a universal type box. The type has been used previously in a home based business. Still has lots of life in them. I would say they are in good condition and you can judge this by the condition of the box and supported by the pictures.
