It is extremely well made with precision components and in excellent condition. We believe that this a manual seal-feed tool that both tensions and straps. The bottom lever(tensioner) ratchets as it should when the grip lever is squeezed and the top lever makes the motion for feeding and sealing. This tool indicates that it can take 1/2" straps. This is definitely a quality combo strapping tool and on the rare occasion you can find them.
