This Bristol Chart Recorder. Model IUD541-24, Serial#542934, was made by The Bristol Company in Waterbury, Connecticut. This is not for measuring temperature rather, it is for recording electrical current over a 24-hour time period. It has a wind-up clock that turns the chart, which moves under the arm that holds the pen. The photos show where the electrical connections are made as well as a switch where you can change from a 115 volt setting to a 230 volt range. This unit winds up smoothly and ticks like a clock while turning the post that holds the chart. The wind up key and a bottle with a small amount of ink are included.
