Rena TL-100 Tabber/Labeler machine
This is a used RENA TL-100 tabber/labeler machine. The TL-100 was Rena's first tabber. We've owned it since 2000. When we bought it used. This machine does either automated tabbing or automated address labeling. We tested it a month ago and it still operated, with all rollers rolling, mail pieces being fed, and with tabs or labels being applied. The tabber comes with the basic unit. With power cord, with one left and two right(one short and one long) guides, with a center paper rest, and with a catching tray. The machine is noisy to operate. And the rubber rollers likely need some rejuvenation in order smoothly grab and feed mail pieces. Also, the last time I used it for a mailing, it occasionally would"stream" the tabs or labels, placing an extra tab or two on each piece rather than just the one tab at the top of the piece. ... moreThat might be an indication that a sensor needs cleaning, or it may be some other adjustment or issue that I don't know how to fix. Also. I could not figure out how to use this tabber to apply tabs to meet the most recent USPS tabbing requirements, which require a tab within 1 inch of each edge of the mailing piece. It did work when the(old) requirement was a single tab in the middle of the long edge of the mailing piece, or when dispensing an address label in the middle of the piece. 6 ft Inkjet Conveyor. It runs wells. It has a 230V DC motor but it has a 120V/ 90V DC speed controller but it works with it. One belt is not original and the end cover is missing a screw that keeps the cover secured. The one end is height adjustable but seems very stiff. I believe the screw that supports it is stripped.
