Vintage Fenwick fly rod 1961 era rod- EXCELLENT IN cardboard TUBE there are 12 photos The high bidder will win a wonderful early USA made Fenwick fly rod. The serial number is B 19652 indicating a 1961-62 era rod. The rod remains in EXCELLENT SHAPE in the original Fenwick cardboard rod tube. I have no history on the rod-this was an estate sale find from the attic of an OLD HOUSE and nobody knew anything about this fishing rod. The rod is marked FENWICK Feralite B 19652 FF80 3 1/2 oz The condition is fantastic- the cork handle looks almost unused-it appears to have been handled some-I took a couple close up photos for you to see. All the line guides appear to be in fantastic condition as are the line guide wraps. The tip top has a touch of rust- I have no idea as to why- the rod certainly doesn't look used much if any at all so why would ... morethe tip top line guide be rusty? damp storage? Vintage Fenwick Feralite FF605 6' Fly Rod with Tube
I believe this rod was manufactured in 1973. But given its age it is in excellent condition. It is a 6 ft rod that takes a 5wt line, and it weights a whopping 2 oz. The original tube is missing the snap cap, and I do not believe the sock is original. This rod is very clean with no issues. The cork is clean but has evidents that a reel has been used on it. All guides are tight and winding is secure. It goes together nice and tight. A very nice, very flexible rod for the traditional fly fisherman. Winner will pay shipping, I will pay to insure it. You are bidding on a very nice Vintage Fenwick FF84 Feralite Fly Fishing Rod With Its Original Rod Sock and Metal Rod Tube. This is a very early model– 1967- of these beautiful old rods as evidenced by the serial number G 113485. It is a 2 piece rod measuring 8 ½’ in length. It weighs 4 oz. and is rated for AFTMA Fly Line No. 5– 6. This is a truly original rod that appears to have been used. Put in the rod tube and left there for a number of years. The cork handle is stained from use but is intact and could be easily cleaned. The reel seat is clean and is stamped with the Fenwick Eagle. The guides are original and wrapped in a chocolate brown colored wrapping with white borders. The Feralite Ferrule shows no damage and is still tight. The rod sock is still in very good condition. The metal rod tube is in good condition but is missing ... morethe metal screw cap. This is a good example of these well made rods that can still fished as well as most modern rods. Offered is this vintage fenwick feralite that I believe is one of the first Feralite rods Jim Green Devoloped& patented in the early 60's It is a 7 ft. 5 wt. weighing only 3 1/8 oz. It is a delight in the hand to those who appreciate fiberglass rods. It is in excelent condition as shown in the pictures. Take the time to look at all the pictures to appreciate it's condition. This rod has no serial# where one would usually be found. There is some color difference between the two sections which also suggest early development of the feralite program. SERIAL NUMBER 1365212, 2-5/8" OZ, 1/8" TO 1/4" OZ LURES, 1-3 LB LINE. Used but still very nice with stickers still in place and complete. I don't see any damage. Vintage Fenwick Feralite Fly Fishing Rod FF79 8'0" This is a two piece vintage Fenwick Feralite fly fishing rod. Model FF79 serial#E39382. Rod is 8'0" in length and weighs 3 3/8 oz. Rod will handle a 5-6 weight fly line. 3 3/4" bronze and gold aluminum sliding hood screw locking fly reel seat. 7" specie cork grip with bronze winding check. Stainless steel stripper guide. Eight stainless steel snake guides and a stainless tip top. Blade is medium brown. Specie cork has been cleaned and reconditioned. Rod has been cleaned only. Appears to have been lightly used and well cared for. Comes with original red and green plaid Fenwick rod bag and aluminum Fenwick storage tube. Will ship in a three sided postal tube insured. Vintage Fenwick FS90 Spinning Rod Feralite J 6550- Includes 2 Rod Extention Case
This is a Vintage Fenwick Feralite Spinning Rod. This rod comes with a 2 rod extension carrying caddy. This Spinning Rod was bought new by my father and was used by him 35 to 45 times a year for many good years of Steelhead and Salmon fishing until 3 years ago. I have no idea how many Steelhead and Salmon he caught on this rod. But he didn't come home without fish often. The tip had been broken off many years ago and a new end guide was fastened on. Apparently it has worked well over the years, but the rod does measure only 8' 4 1/2" long. This is an FS90, 8' 4 1/2" long, 8 3/8 ounce, 2 piece Spinning Rod and made in the USA. This is a Vintage Fenwick Feralite Fly Rod. This rod comes with the Original Fenwick sock and the original Fenwick Aluminum Case. The rod may have been used once or twice. But I don't see any signs of use. The cork handle appears dirty and scratched a little, but then it may have been made that way.
