This is the rear cavity mirror for a Mazac slab laser used for industrial metal cutters. The mirror is 1 inch diameter and is coated at HR 10.6um on one side and AR 10.6um on the other. The neat thing about this optic is that it allows power measuring off the HR end without requiring expensive high power beam samplers and attenuators. This optic would also be a nice choice of cavity mirror for mid IR nonlinear optical systems like SHG to 5.3um using a grating tuner and a nonlinear crystal. This mirror appears new and never used. This is a very high end laser optic designed to be one of the 45 degree cavity bending mirrors in a 4kW Mazac co2 metal cutting laser. The cleaver design of this laser allows it to have a long folded cavity length in a short sized head. This optic is the best there is for co2 laser mirrors- hard high energy coatings and a silicon substrate. It would be the ultimate beam delivery mirror. If desired you can use this laser mirror for a HR at 0 degrees for a hobby laser build. But it will favor the shorter 9.xx um wavelength transitions over the typical 10.6um. 5 CO2 Laser Cu Reflective Mirrors 76mm, 60mm & 50mm High Power
These CO2 laser reflective mirrors are gold plated(on one side) copper and were removed from a Mitsubishi 2000 watt laser cutting machine during routine maintenance. As you can see from the pictures. There are numerous small scratches in the gold plating. I do not know if they can be polished out or not, but in lower power applications, they may function properly, but no guarantees. There are two 73mm dia.approx. 3" dia. mirrors, two 60mm dia. approx. 2 3/8" mirrors and one 50mm(approx. 1 15/16" mirror. Up for auction is a little piece of laser history. One 20 watt carbon dioxide classIV laser, built by Peter Laakmann from the early days with Electro-Optics. Built about 1982, serial number is 810803B. Got this for a thermal imager telescope project a while back that I never completed. This lens is 3/4 inch diameter with a negative 1 inch FL. It will work well with the newer FLIR imagers combined with a 3 or 5 inch positive FL ZnSe or germanium lens to build a simple telescope with. This is a very nice optic. Hi. You are bidding on a used CO2(or other if you'd like) Laser Head and Mount. I built the one shown in the pictures from parts I won in an auction, and while it may not be exactly right, you can buy this one and adjust it as-needed, or send me a diagram of what you have in mind and I can let you know what extra parts I have and if I can make it. I have A LOT of parts/components) These parts were made by Laser Mech and used in an industrial setting. All of them had to be cleaned and some of the cleaning liquid removed some paint from the metal which is why some will appear a different shade of black or dark purple than others. The auction also had a lot of lenses in them. As you can see two are already placed inside of this unit, but were removed shortly after taking the pictures. I also have mirrors and lenses galore if you'd prefer ... morethem instead. As far as this is concerned. If you'd like your own built or at least the parts given to you so you can build it(and save on shipping) you can build the head however you please, to the size you need, and I will include two lenses(in perfect shape or close, and ask which ones you'd like because I have many different types) into the purchase price. For every mirror you need there will be anywhere from $25-$150 charge per mirror based on quality and size. Lastly. Each head will come with a micrometer that allows you to adjust the distance the lenses can move and make the laser expand or contract. All of the micrometers turn and adjust very smoothly. Consists of two independent 25 watt lasers with the beam combiner. This is an OEM unit with no key switch, no laser pointer. Just fuses and 2 RCA independent control signal input jacks. While originally both lasers were specified a minimum of 25 watts each when new. It appears one was used far more than the 2nd. At 90% duty cycle 22.5 watts and 15.2 watts are now available which means 40 watts is available at 100% power. The 90% duty cycle was limited due to the power supply being 25 amps and not the 30 amps required for 100% It also means ... moreone laser section meets original full power specifications. Not too shabby for a 20 year old laser. It's burning the flakeboard quite nicely. As soon as power is applied it's ready to go. Applying a 2% to 100% duty cycle 5KHz 5 volt signal to both RCA control connectors will allow power to be changed from 0 to 40 watts. Thanks to thermal inertia it can be operated for several seconds or a bit longer every few minutes without water cooling. Provided the power is turned off as it draws over 45 watts idling. 40 Watt CO2 Laser Tube and Power Supply
Working 40 Watt carbon dioxide laser tube and matched power supply. Currently pinned out to operate when the red button on the power supply is pressed and held. There are pins to allow a potentiometer to adjust the output laser power. Wiring is already on the power supply. Simply attach the red high voltage wire to the HR mirror side and the white ground wire to the OC mirror side. Connect running water to the tube inlet. Plug the unit in and press the red button and things heat up that get in the way.
