There is a dial on the back that can be turned to change the thickness of cut. There are 4 different thickness settings and a fifth setting for when the slicer is not in use. Lastly. There is a release setting for removing the blade for cleaning. It has a food guide that you would place the item to be sliced atop of and you would then manually move that guide so the item is pushed into the slicing wheel. Just move it left and right and slice the item for as much as you want to slice up. The sliding guide slides back and forth freely with no interference and the blade is very sharp. Hobart Stacker Slicer
This slicer because it is used is being sold as is. For sale is a used Hobart Slicer. I do not have a manual for it. I purchased it at an auction with other equipment. From what I can tell all the parts are there. Although I dont see a sharpener. It powers on and will move the carraige and meat pusher and count down the number of slices it makes. The control board seems to work fine it will program straight slices or circle pattern for platters. I dont know to much else about it. I bought this with a Univex Prep mate and did not need this. Was being used by a small pizza shop that I purchased it from. The pins somehow were lost when purchased.frustrating. That the unit use to slide and cut the tomatoes, one of the rails(photo 5 and 6) is worn out, so the slider comes out of the pattern(photo 7) it works fine but is kinda tricky to make it work, you can replace the rail and it will work at 100% again( there is two rivets on the rail, so you will need an special tool to replace this part. this part is not attached or joined by screws) Thank you for watching.
