The machine is powered by a Volvo 4-cylinder diesel engine. The fuel lift pump is off the engine and is in need of replacement. I bought the machine like this. The previous owner told me he had issues with the machine getting fuel and narrowed it down to the lift pump. He then took it off and never got around to replacing it. Since then he replaced the loader with a newer one. The machine sat like this for about a year before I recently aquired it. The engine has black oil and is on the mark. The engine does turn over. I have here a Clark Michigan Volvo 45C wheel loader. This machine i believe to be a mid 80's machine and was purchased brand new by the state of Delaware. It has a Detroit Diesel engine. Decent tires that hold air! This thing is a tank. Has a full cab with all of the factory glass! This machine has thus far lived an easy life parked at a DOT compound and only used once and a while to load trucks. From what I can tell it seems to operate quite well. Machine is running in the pics! None of the electrical components work(lights) some of the gauges work. Hour meter reads 400 hours or so. Cab sheet metal has some rust. Pins and bushings seem very nice and tight. No gushing leaks that I can find, some drips and seeps here and there. Volvo L25B Wheel Loader. Unit runs great. Is very strong and is ready to go! I recently purchased this loader for a snow removal contract at a large condo association. The contract wasn't renewed this season and I have another newer compact loader so this has to go! Unit has two speeds forward and two reverse. Brakes work, parking brake works and there are no leaks. Unit is sound and works as it should. Tires all are matching and have decent tread- I'd say 40-65% Pins and bushings are worn, but no where near the need for immediate replacement. Typical for the hours. Unit came from a sales yard where it loaded mulch, soils and other landscape products. Has general purpose bucket included in the sale. It is a standard skid steer attachment plate that is hydraulically operated from the cab to switch out attachments. Unit does have a ... morefew minor issues. But nothing that stops it from immediate and dependable use. There is a bad wire somewhere or switch is bad- unit has a push button start. Key functions on/off but start doesn't work on switch. No real issue. The front glass is cracked real high- not in vision. Glass on right side is plexi and door is not on unit but comes with door that is plexi/wood with metal frame. Originally all glass. horrible idea on a door that swings constantly. This is a good working loader that is ready for snow or your sales yard or farm. Come test out in my yard. No leaks. No mechanical issues and no major repairs needed. Just cosmetic details on the doors are the only issues that keep this from a outstanding unit.
