Up for auction is a 1997 Komatsu 450-3L 6yd wheel loader.Serial# 30193.M-ll Cummins engine with 26.5-25 radial Tires.I just recenly bought this loader to do a contract that I have since passed up.I am in the rock business and I bought the loader off of a local sand producer.The previous owner said he had not done anything major to it or had any problems,just ran it daily at his sand plant.I had the Kansas City Dealer run a search to see if it had been sold at an auction or listed on the internet in its history and he found no listings.First the bad,This is what I was going to work on before putting it into service at my quarry,Some hydraulic leaks,as you can see from the pics,nothing serious just some o-rings and cylinder seals,needs a new muffler,needs a compressor for the A/C,has a coolant line leaking,park brake needs adjusted maybe parts ... morereplaced,there is no power to heater control,when you first accelerate it blackstacks then cleans up and no smoke,maybe too rich,needs adjusted.There are some bushings on the bucket arms that should be replaced at some point but not something I was going to do.Now the good,The reason I really like this loader is because it has really fast hydraulics/steering and is very well balanced,compared to Cat,Kawasaki,Volvo and even another Komatsu loader I had This is a much better designed loader,The motor starts instantly and like I mentioned has an initial blackstack when you get into it,but it sounds good and has plenty of power.The transmission is a 4 speed and shifts perfect,it has plenty of torque in first gear to spin the tires,second is also a good operating gear,3rd and 4th dont seem,to have much snap but are fine for a road gear.The tires are in good shape have plenty of tread,radiator runs cool,The center pin bushings are tight,glass is good,interior is ok,not great.It does have the factory A/C but for some reason the compressor is missing,the hour meter is working and showing just over 20k hours and I have no reason to believe the hours are not accurate,overall it is

2000 john deere 744h no reserve
This is a no reserve auction on this 2000 jd 744h its a very clean machine we bought it 3 years ago as a spare it is very smooth and we have kept up on all oil changes and maintance up until a point. Its in r mulch yard loading wood chips on r 18 wheelers its working fine for that with very little wear and tear. Engine has 15744hrs and does not burn oil has no blow by and starts rite up in this cold winter every time. All pistons. Final drives and electrical r tight and do not leak or short out. Heat works great all cab class is there tires at 70% new batteries and new cutting edge paint is in great cond. Heres the bad news no 1st gear in fow or rev 2 3 4 run out fine in fow and rev it works fine loading chips and probable plowing snow and it also will need center pins top and bottom. 1971 Michigan 55B Wheel Loader. Currenlty not operational. Needs motor to be repaired or replaced. I purchased this loader from a fellow snow removal contractor last spring as I had a twin to it. He was using it to plow a large parking lot and one storm it stopped running. To get it ready for the winter before last he had it painted. Seat recovered and heater core replaced. He was running it with home heating oil in it and it had gelled on him or so he thought, I bought it not running and we found fuel in the crank case, probably an injector. Anyway I had the wrong guy working it and he took the heads off and pulled the intake and he never came back. That was a year ago and I have since sold the twin. You might be able to clean the motor up and get it running but I am not making any promises. Good running condition. Go right to work. Needs brake master cylinder rebuild as it leaks off fluid. Runs out good in all three speeds. Comes with set of chains and bucket and shop built double hay Speer. We mostly used to load round bale hay. It is extremely fast at loading hay. No hydraulic leaks and lights work well. We purchased this approximately 15 years ago and put a few hundred hours on it every year pushing snow and loading out gravel off of our stockpile at our shop. It does not have an hour meter. We always serviced it once a year(oil change. Filters, etc. We got it ready for this year's snow plow season but I came across a deal on a new wheel loader that I just couldn't pass up. I just took delivery of it and so I no longer need this one. It is ready to go. Tires hold air, glass is good, heat, wipers and lights all work. It actually is in nice shape for an older machine.
