Up for sale is my Craftsman 5/22 snow blower. It handles up to a foot of snow well and has been in my wife's family for many winters worth of service. Newer spark plug. Electric start(pull isn't working) and nice large wheels to get through the heavy stuff. It will need a carb cleaning/replacement as it currently isn't starting for me. I'm in the market for something larger so I just rather not bring it back to Sears to get it replaced and spend the money. Tecumseh H70 Snow Blower Engine Short Block
This is a Tecumseh H70 short block pulled from a 1971 Yardman Snowbird 26" snowblower. I used the snowblower for 2 seasons before the transmission failed. The motor ran good with no knocks. Just burned oil(I used Mobil 1 5w 30) There is some scoring in the bore as shown in the photos so you may want to give it a re ring and hone the bore. Unfortunately, the two bolts that secure the shield behind the flywheel broke off as I was disassembling the motor. Shaft measures 3/4" diameter by 2 1/4" long. Sold as-is. THIS ENGINE HAS GREAT COMPRESSION. WHEN I SHOT SOME GAS IN THE CYLINDER IT STARTED ON THE FIRST PULL. I RAN IT FOR 10 SECONDS THATS IT. THE SHAFT IS 2 1/4" AND IS 3/4 WITH 1/4 INCH KEYWAY. THIS IS AN 8HP TECUMSEH ENGINE THAT A NEIGHBOR GAVE ME ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND IT HAS SAT ON MY SHELF EMPTY OF ALL FLUIDS AND DUE TO A NEW JOB AND VERY LITTLE TIME I HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO REBUILD IT AND I AM TRYING TO SELL MY ENGINES OFF A LITTLE AT A TIME. BUT HERE IS WHAT I DO KNOW. IT DOES START RIGHT UP- I FILLED IT WITH GAS AND SHOT SOME STARTER FLUID IN THE CYLINDER AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP. THE COMPRESSION IS ABOUT 120-140 SO I KNOW IT HAS GREAT COMPRESSION. I RAN IT FOR 10 SECONDS AND THATS IT. IT HAS AN ELECTRIC STARTER THAT WORKS FINE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IS ALL I KNOW ABOUT THIS ENGINE. ALSO-IT HAS A 1' SHAFT WITH A 1/4 INCH KEYWAY THATS 2 1/4 LONG. SO HAPPY BIDDING

Up for sale is an older Lawn Boy ST320/ Model 55379 Snow Blower/ Snow Broom/ Snowblower/ Snowbroom/ Snowthrower. The engine is a 2 Cycle gas/oil mix engine(but if you did not already know that. You probably shouldn't buy this) This machine is for parts only as it has not been started in several years. Engine is not seized or locked up but will need work to start.
