O ffered here is a circa1950s Navaho weaving that measures 4 feet 8 inches long by 3 foot 1 inch wide or 56” x 37” It is attributed to the Wide Ruins or Chinle weaving area and is in excellent+ condition. It was handwoven by an expert weaver on an upright loom of all Native handshorn. Handcarded and beautifully handspun long staple Churro sheep wool, both weft& warp. Here is a very nice old 3 design-panel Revival Serape finely woven in all hand vegetal dyed colors. The serrated diamond design stripes are each separated by bold compound stripe zones. Nice blanket in nice condition. No Reserve. W e obtained this vintage Native American textile on consignment out of northern Colorado just to offer you here on eBay. It has a fine. Even weft count averaging 30 per inch and a fine warp count of 9 per inch. The selvage cords are all in ... moreoriginal excellent condition. But with one single cord break on one side.
