Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Adjustable Drafting Chair Metal Wood
This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. The stool is in used condition& has scratches and some rust as shown. The bottom of the adjustable legs are also rusty but they swivel to sit flat on the floor. The backrest can slide forward or back. I can't make out the name other than it says backrest under it. I do not know the age of the stool. Despite its flaws. It is still a great sturdy stool. I have three of these for sale. 125 Each Buy it Now plus 40 dollars shipping each. No way to combine shipping because that will make them oversized. Local pick up is fine too in Madison. WI. These are the large 22" saddle they have the standard cylinder that goes from 17.5"s to 22.75"s the base is graphite and 22"s the color seems to be the lotus fabric in the shale color but I might be wrong. These were 377 each plus shipping configured this way. Humanscale has a great website. The lever to move them up and down is at each corner so there is no feeling around to find it. Up for sale is a Bevco industrial chair. According to the stamp on the underside. This chair was made on January, 1993. It stands about 32” from the back rest and 20” up from the seat. The seat is 15.5” wide and 13” long. The frame is made of steel and the backrest 7 seat are made of finished plywood. The back rest can be adjusted and the seat pivots 360 degrees. This chair is used with normal shop wear, such as surface scratches, paint wear& light corrosion on bare metal spots, etc. But otherwise, it’s in hardy, non-broken shape for many, many more years of use.
