There is a small tear in the upholstery and parts where the upholstery is deteriorating and a piece of the wood has been reglued because it had previously chipped off. Statue Buddha Thai Kneeling Praying 13.5" tall to the top of the hat. This Buddha has a bronze finish. You can see traces of a red paint under-tone. I believe this Buddha is made of a very light weight wood.that is a guess. There are small(tiny) mirrors decorating the Buddha, most are clear, a few are green and red. I have no idea with respect to the age or where it was made, sorry, it was part of an estate lot I acquired in the Atlanta Georgia region of the States. The underside of the chair has significantly more scratching than the upper part. It also appears that the crossbar is missing, so when sitting you do notice some instability. Antique prayer or kneeling stool
Oak stool. Standing 25 inches tall approx with a slightly sloping buttoned velvet top surface. Ideally, this needs replacing although what is there is original by all accounts and should clean up. This is in good condition apart from a damage to the front top lower edge. My joiner says that it is an"easy repair" This piece has not been tarted up in any way and would respond well to some simple TLC. This is a heavy item(6kg without any packaging) hence the P&P costs. Vintage Set of 2 Kneeling Angel Figurines-Great Condition!
Vintage set of 2 kneeling angels. These angels belonged to my grandmother and were displayed in a curio cabinet inside a smoke free home. They have very sweet faces and feature gold trim around the sleeves and collars of the robes. The figurines are dressed in a light pink/white robe with blue collars and blue cuffs on the sleeves. Their wings are accented with a light blue. There are no chips or broken pieces on their hands or wings. They do have some age cracks in the porcelain on the tops of their heads(pictured) Both figurines stand about 4.5 inches tall. This would be an excellent addition to any collection.
