The feet have not been used and the chrome is nice with no pitting or rust. They measure one inch tall and the chrome foot is one inch in diameter. The toothed disk that fits into your chair leg to hold the foot on is 11/16. The teeth on the disk will flex some what so the foot will fit a slightly smaller diameter opening on your chair leg if needed. You can also bend the teeth out somewhat if your chair leg diameter is close to 3/4 inches. The foot will not work on a chair leg with a female opening larger than 3/4 inches. This stool mounted on the center pedestal of the barber chairs of the day(the red clamp in the pictures) And allowed the barber to sit and swivel back and forth behind the client while cutting. 1940-50's- ANTIQUE- VINTAGE- RETRO- SCHOOL DESK W/ ATTACHED SWIVEL CHAIR- UNIQUE! RARE! This children's school desk was in use at a local Vocational High School near where I live over 26 years ago. The school was updating its furniture and opened up to the public to buy the old desks to help fund the new ones. Well. I lucked out to be able to pick out two lovely, well kept desks when I got there, and have been using this charming piece every since then in my home. It is definitely in Excellent Used Condition with a few stray marker marks on the top from when my son was a toddler. Desk has been kept in our home, consistantly, for the past 26 or so years, not stored in a garage or out in the weather at all. It is dusty and could use a cleaning ~ maybe even light restoration or refinishing to bring out and highlite its natural beauty, ... morewhich won't take much work at all since it is in such good shape- not thick with layers and layers of varnish, polyeurethane or paint etc. Seat is wood and metal, and desk top is wood, and lifts open to store your paper and supplies inside perfectly, with two metal props on the inside compartment on either side to make the desktop level if needed- see pics. Both the seat and the desktop operate well, and both are height adjustable. There isn't a better built or more sturdy, stable piece of furniture around! This is a great piece for display. For a play desk for your little ones, or to home-school and keep everything organized and everyone on-task in an educational type setting! Condition: This piece is vintage and in used condition. There are some very minor stray marker/crayon/glue/glitter marks on this piece as is typical for a children's school desk. There are also a couple very light etchings in the wood. As it sits now the seat hight is 14 inches from the floor and the overall hight is 30 inches to the top of the chair. The seat is 14 inches across and 13 inches front to back.
