Variable Balans Style, Ergonomic Kneeling Chair, Nice!!!
Chair has been mildly used and takes amazing pressure of the back and give good posture. I used this after having a herniated disc in my back and it made the difference of being able to do office work or not. The bottom of the rockers show scuffs from use. The rest of the chair looks perfect. Not sure if this is the real Peter Opsvik. As there is no indication on the chair. It is the same design but I am not sure. Up for auction is a vintage Ergonomic kneeling chair from the 1970's. The chair is still in very good condition with some mild wear over the years. The wood is solid and sturdy and has no cracks etc. The padding is still in good shape but there is some minor red magic marker on the knee pad. It's only a couple of inches and doesn't show too much but you can see it in the photos. I have not tried a cleaner to remove the mark although it is probably possible. Rare HAG BALANS Ergonomic Kneeling Chair (Out Of Production since 2009)
HAG Balans Ergonomic Kneeling Chair. NO LONGER AVAILABLE- Out of production since 2009. Very lightly used. Very Good- Excellent condition. Five star rolling base. The pneumatic piston adjusts the seat from 20" 27.5" as measured at the center of the angled seat) And works perfectly. Red/maroon upholstery is excellent. Black painted base has some very faint usage marks, and has a couple small chips(as shown in photo) The shipping comes out on the high side due to the size of the box needed to accommodate the spread of the five star base plus the height. I also have a second identical Hag Balans Kneeling Chair available that shows a bit more signs of use. R.I.P. HAG Balans kneeling chair 1979-2009 After 30 years. HAG has decided to discontinue the most popular kneeling chair in the world. Based on the original Peter Opsvik design and ... moreone of the first true ergonomic chairs.
