Very nice all original UHL Toledo Draftsman pivoting chair with wooden casters. This is the first one I have had with quartersawn tiger oak seat and back. The height adjustment(15-1/4" to 18-1/4" is made via the metal plates under the seat. O riginal military green finish base with only normal light surface wear. No damage. Very sturdy. An excellent chair. By removing 4 wing nuts the seat easily separates from the base- I have priced shipping based on my doing this to reduce the package size. I was going to do a fancy restoration on it, but I consistently get side-tracked. Perhaps you would like to undertake a restoration. All parts of this desk are in solid condition. It could use some paint. The Maple Plywood seat needs re-finishing, and a solid top to replace the Manufactured top would be nice. That project is for you or another. 1940-50's- ANTIQUE- VINTAGE- RETRO- SCHOOL DESK W/ ATTACHED SWIVEL CHAIR- UNIQUE! RARE! This children's school desk was in use at a local Vocational High School near where I live over 26 years ago. The school was updating its furniture and opened up to the public to buy the old desks to help fund the new ones. Well. I lucked out to be able to pick out two lovely, well kept desks when I got there, and have been using this charming piece every since then in my home. It is definitely in Excellent Used Condition with a few stray marker marks on the top from when my son was a toddler. Desk has been kept in our home, consistantly, for the past 26 or so years, not stored in a garage or out in the weather at all. It is dusty and could use a cleaning ~ maybe even light restoration or refinishing to bring out and highlite its natural beauty, ... morewhich won't take much work at all since it is in such good shape- not thick with layers and layers of varnish, polyeurethane or paint etc. Seat is wood and metal, and desk top is wood, and lifts open to store your paper and supplies inside perfectly, with two metal props on the inside compartment on either side to make the desktop level if needed- see pics. Both the seat and the desktop operate well, and both are height adjustable. There isn't a better built or more sturdy, stable piece of furniture around! This is a great piece for display. For a play desk for your little ones, or to home-school and keep everything organized and everyone on-task in an educational type setting! Condition: This piece is vintage and in used condition. There are some very minor stray marker/crayon/glue/glitter marks on this piece as is typical for a children's school desk. There are also a couple very light etchings in the wood. This is a wonderful genuine vintage dark finish rattan table or stool base with wrapped leg accents. It is round and measures 23.5" in diameter(21.5" on the inside circle) and 16.5" tall. It is in excellent condition with a little scuffing on the top but it has not been touched up and the rattan is well preserved all around. This is a very nice example of a Charles Eames Herman Miller shell chair with a very rare Zenith mark. The Z is cast into the fiberglass of the chair with the expoxy that was used to mount the shockmounts. It is a factory mark that has fiberglass strands running through it. This is not a rope edge chair. The chair comes with the pictured. High quality aftermarket walnut dowel base. There are no cracks and the edge of the chair is in nice shape. It has great fiber definition and a very nice coloration. The base is included in this auction and the shell will ship in one package and the base, screws and washers will ship in a second box. Item Description: Listed is a vintage cast aluminum X-base outdoor/patio/sunroom sofa& chair seating set. Possibly made my MOLLA, as they were the company whom made their name in the market by offering cast aluminum patio/outdoor furniture which in the salt air tends to rust less easily instead of wrought iron. Condition is 9.5 out of 10. With 10 being best. Only reason for not being perfect is a few paint scraps to the frames. Most notably on edges/points. No rust. All welds/connections secure. Fabric is clean& free of odors! Cushions are newer. We purchased from a well maintained St. Louis area mansion. Looks not sat on at all. Cushions were ordered by their interior decorator, but we are not sure if the fabric is outdoor fabric or not as this set was used in their three-season/sun room, most probably not. The paint is an off white ... moreand the 3” thick cushions are a two-tone beige/tan repeating pattern as shown. Sofa measures 68” wide. 31” tall at back and 30” overall depth. 14” from ground to seat cushion level without cushions. And 17” ground to top of seat cushions with cushions in place, 21” ground to top of front armrest. Sofa weighs approx. 50 lbs with cushions.
