There really is nothing wrong with it. Aside from any knicks and scratches that any pole would have if used. These poles. Made out of fiberglass, were tapered which made them extremely accurate. No signs of rust or corrosion anywhere. Just needs a little cleaning. I do see a couple of very light scratches on the black side of the reel but hardly noticeable. What a great find! This used Mapex M drum has model#176118 printed into the Maplex plate(2nd photo) and has a beautiful blue lacquer finish. There is some slight scratching on the body. But not very noticeable. Here we have a wonderful rare Victorian antique piano or organ stool in good used vintage condition. Circa 1900 or so. The stool is adjustable up and down for different heights and the seat swivels back and forth. The stool measures about 35 1/2 inches high by 18 inches deep. by 17 1/2 inches from the seat down. The seat measures 14 1/2 inches by 14 1/2 inches. Just gorgeous warm color. Beautiful ball and claw feet. Carving in the wood and a beautiful design all around the seat. Up for sale is this nice antique A. Merriam co. adjustable wood piano stool with cast iron ball and claw feet. It measures from 19" to 22" tall and the seat has a diameter of 14 1/4" This stool has normal wear from age. A few scratches on the seat and a knick on one leg as pictured but overall it is in good condition. The window is 5 feet tall and it is 8 feet wide at the bottom. There is a wood frame around the window but it does need some work to be repaired. The bottom window sill is damaged/rotted/missing and needs to be replaced. When this was installed it also had a piece of clear glass on both sides to protect it. One of them cracked as I set it down on my garage floor and was taken off and tossed. The stained glass is still perfect. It shows age and the brass pieces are starting to tarnish a little. The window dropped down out of the wood frame and we just turned it over and it went back in. I now have a board holding it all together. Late 19thC. Satiwood & MOP Inlaid Mahogany Bookcase Arched Doors & Paw Feet
This is an absolutely stunning piece of furniture in amazing condition for the age. This piece dates to the late 1800's. We do not know the maker of this piece or the origin. This bookcase stands 66 3/8" high and has a width at the top of 53.25" The width at the base is 55" The depth at the top is 15" and at the base it has a depth of 17" The main body of this where the books are held measures 51" w x 14" d x 57.75" h. The arched doors are flanked on the sides by 3/4 columns capped with ornate finnials. There are bands of string inlay decorating the fronts of the doors. There is a third finnial capped column between the two doors as well. Each column has beautiful designs made from satinwood and accented with mother of pearl inlay. The base boasts stunning winged.Bracket paw feet. The back has bun feet. The inside has a depth of 12' and has four shelves. The original round pegs have been replaced with dowels. There are some losses to the trim molding on one side of this. There do not appear to be any losses to the inlaid areas. There is a small gap on the left side between the door and the center column. There are age and use associated surface scratches and dings. These are very minor and do not detract from the piece at all. This is a stunning bookcase that was obviously well cared for. Ready to go in the home. Top is from the early 20thc and has been refinished. The top could be birch? The case is from the 1780's approx. Two back knee blocks are missing as shown(one front leg and one rear) Some patched repairs to front drawers as seen. Normal wear for the age. Antique hardware is probably old replacements. I bought"The Noodle" 2006 directly from Bjarne and have fished it gently and rarely. The Noodle is Bjarnes favourite Rod. And he uses is as much as possible for fishing the dry fly. Because of the lightweight of"The Noodle" and you have not to put any effort in your casting, the rod gives you the most pleasure and excitement while fishing. This is an exceptional quality silver round tray made in the reign of King George II by the highly important silversmith. Edward Wakelin, in London 1753, some 260 years ago. The ... moretray has a raised and shaped round rop rim with scroll leaves. It has four chased leaves above each of the scroll feet. The body of the tray is superbly chased with fine shell motifs and swirling leaves with lattice decoration. The centre of the tray has a vacant cartouche surrounded by sprays of leaves. The tray stands on four scroll feet. The tray is 7-1/2 inches/ 191 mm wide and it stands 1 inch/ 25 mm high. Made of very thick gauge silver. It weighs 353 grams. The underside of the tray has clear hallmarks- lion passant. London mark, letter S for 1753 and maker's mark EW below the Prince of Wales feathers for Edward Wakelin. The tray is in excellent condition with no dents. Damage or repair. It is crisp and without wear and the hallmarks are clear and crisp also. This is a very rare and extremely fine quality silver waiter tray by the highly important maker. Edward Wakelin.
