While the frames are in excellent condition ... moreoverall, they will need to be reupholstered. The foam padding has turned to yellow dust, a common problem with chairs of this era unfortunately. The fabric itself is in great shape, though dusty from the dried-out padding, and could probably be reused if desired. The legs and frames are free of scuffs and scratches. Though one frame has a separated corner joint at the top(an easy fix with a clamp and glue) and one chair has a small ding in the wood on the top left side. Both chairs are in their original golden oak finish, and are each marked as having been manufactured in March of 1973 on the Knoll tags underneath. DIMENSIONS: 19.5" wide. 22.75" deep, 31.5" high. SHIPPING: Chairs will ship via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery unless otherwise requested. Could be shipped for $75 via Greyhound Package Express. The drawers- 11 1/2" D x 13 1/4" W x 3 1/2" H. Color- Dark brown. Knobs are white. Materials- Wood. Ceramic knobs, and metal on the inside. Condition- Used. In nice condition, it does show signs of use and age. It could use a finish and some work on it. 1 knob is missing and 1 is chipped. On the inside of the drawers there is a metal piece that looks broken but I don't think it is I think it just needs bent back in the hole. There are some cracks in the wood. This desk is from the Denny Crum era. Inside the desk came with official University of Louisville men's Basketball letterhead note paper and thank you note cards(see picture) This desk held UofL's VHS game tapes. One of the 10 index cards is Kentucky with UofL noting what game tapes they had of UK. UofL studied UK's games against Georgia, UT, and South Carolina. THERE IS A STAMPING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CENTER DRAWER THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE A DATE CODE OF SOME KIND. THE DESK HAS ONLY HAD TWO OWNERS(SEE PICTURE) THE TOP OF THE DESK HAS SURFACE SCRATCHES FROM USAGE(NORMAL) THERE IS TWO SPOTS THAT LOOK LIKE PIPE BURNS AND A RING FROM A LAMP THAT SET ON THE DESK CORNER FOR 20 YEARS(SEE PICTURES) THERE ARE NO CHIPS, GOUGES,OR NICKS OTHER THAN TWO AREAS DISCUSSED. THE RIGHT TOP PULL OUT WRITING BOARD HAS A 100 YEAR CALENDAR TAPED TO IT(ENDED YEAR 2000) I DIDN'T REMOVE IT BECAUSE IT MIGHT DAMAGE THE FINISH.
