Hi Up for auction is a large 48 star Flag of the United States of America- 5 ft x 9.5 ft. The 48 star flag is from 1912 to 1959. The flag was made by the Valley Forge company. I'm sure this was a casket flag possibly from the Korean War or the WWII eras. not from my family or friends! The flag is sewn cotton. Some of the white parts have slight discoloring. The blues and reds are very deep and strong. The white band along the leading edge has aged much more than the stripes and stars. This flag has been folded up for a long time. The flag comes in a wood and glass triangular box- 2 ft x 1 ft, Most likely not original to the time of the flag. The hard thing about shipping is the glass part of the box. Oval table with all three leafs is 71 1/2" long. Base is 40" wide toe to toe. Four pig heads and four pigs feet. Only flaws I see are a couple of the toes are skinned on their tops[see pictures] and the locking device is missing for the top. Wood looks like oak to me. 9 Celluloid/plastic. Decline walking cows. The metal feet are weighted, and when put on a decline like a book or board made into a ramp they will walk down, fun to watch and even more fun to show friends. The herd has been out to pasture for a while showing some wear, but overall looks great. Only one has been shot with a bb gun which is surprising. The bb shot one is solid just broken out about 3/16th inch hole. Cow functions properly. The Dog. The Dog has some wear but looks great. It is marked on the top of the face, Germany" and the numbers at the bottom are. 00073" The rubber is still pliable and not cracked. The buckle shows some rust, as does the rivet. The glass has scratches but mostly in the center. The numbers are still able to be read and this may be able to be cleaned up a bit. We only wipe with a damp rag. Antique Sterling Silver Salver Tray Clawed Feet Hester Bateman London 1787
This is a lovely sterling silver salver tray with clawed feet by Hester Bateman of London. Made in 1787. It is 7” in diameter and 1 1/8” tall, and weighs 7.45 troy ounces. The inside engraving is quite worn. It looks as though it was once a wreathed coat of arms with a one word Latin motto below it. With a little luck and a lot of work, one might be able to figure it out. One problem with it is that the inside beading is actually a row of round holes. I presume the metal at the beading was relatively thin, and just wore through as it aged. Unless someone can come up with a reason for ventilating the salver with holes, I will stick with wear as an explanation. The family I purchased it from had a MO license number engraved on the bottom. An excellent item for a collector! A very fine and rare George the 2nd Hot Milk Jug made in London in 1732(see Peter Waldron's" The Price Guide to Antique Silver" page 276 where the value in 2000 was £8.000-£15,000)It is in good condition for it's nearly 300 years,the hallmarks are just readable except for the maker, you can just make out the R for 1732.There is a small split to the rim and a couple of small dents, but the hoof feet are good and undamaged.The lid appears to be original and there maybe traces of a hallmark on the rim.There is a contemporary crest on one side and faint later initials on the other side.It stands squarely on it's feet and is nearly 5ins(11.5cm) high.It weighs a solid 8oz(220gms)It is of lovely form and patination,and has been in my collection for many years, but sadly the time has come to part with it.

It stands on 3 shell capped hoof feet and is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM Date: 1946/47 Makers Marks: CSG& Co(Charles S Green& Co Ltd) Dimensions: 6 inches long from lip to handle 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall to the top of the handle. It weighs 103g Condition: It does have a few shallow pin prick size dings to the base. But these are minor, and obviously would not be seen once it was filled. Also if I had to be extrememly critical there is a slight impression to the inside where one of the shell caps above a foot joins the body, but this is very very minor Remarks: A good solid silver sauce boat that would look impressive on any table to serve. This is a very good Antique Solid Silver Sauce Boat. It is of a circular shape and has a card cut rim and a wide lip. It has 3 shell capped hoof feet and a leaf capped question mark shaped handle. It is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks. As you can see in the photograph it does have a fancy letter"F" engraved in the lower part of the body. So ideal if your forename or surname begin with this letter. This to me is the back of the sauce boat as the handle is to the left, but turn it around and the other side is plain. Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM Date: 1902/03 Makers Marks: W.A(William Adams) Dimensions: 5 inches long from lip to handle. The actual body is 2.75 inches in diameter and it is 3 inches tall, to the top of the handle. It weighs 84g Condition: It is in very good condition. Belleek Ott& Brewer Cabbage Leaf Bowl Floral Bud Feet Hand Painted CA 1876 Description A Magnificent CABBAGE LEAF BOWL with three Tulip Bud Feet made by Ott& Brewer Trenton NJ. Crown Mark in Red. Ott& Brewer was the first company to make Belleek in the United States. The bowl is in a fantastic shape with a very thin translucent body where the veins of the leaves are molded right into the body. It’s almost as if the leaf was removed from the cabbage. The glaze is matt. Decorated with a magnificent branch of golden stems and leaves with pink and lavender flowers. There are two ribbon like panels that look like gross grain ribbon in gray outlined in black and decorated in a gold filigree design. The edge of the bowl is trimmed in gold and on the outside is gold sponged along the top edge of the leaf curl highlighting the texture ... moreof the bowl. The Feet are made to look like tulip buds decorated in gold with just a hint of pink peeking out of each. The stems of the tulip look to have been cut from the plant since they are dark green and look just like a cut tulip stem. The bottom is marked with a Belleek logo that includes an artist's palette and brushes. In 1889. Johnathan Cox and Walter Scott Lenox established The Ceramic Art Company at Trenton, NJ. Here is an 8' long X 3 1/2' tall Sailfish half mount.I do not know much about these.I purchased this one from a lady about 15 years ago who said her husband caught the fish in Mexico in the 1980's.I liked it bought it and hung it on the wall.We redecorated and it is time to sell.I think it is made out of plaster the sail looks to be masonite and fins are plastic.It looks good from a distance but up close you can see cracking and paint chipping.This fish is far from mint so dont expect a show piece.It would look fine hung on a wall where it can be viewed from a distance or in a garage/work shop.Local pick up only. The bottom has several little hobnail feet the tray rests on and the edges are slightly fluted. The tray measures 11 ½” long. 6 ½” wide and stands almost 1” tall. It’s in good used condition with no chips or cracks. The bottom has a couple of discolored spots as well as the corner of the top of the tray.
