Welch 1400N vacuum pump
I bought this vacuum pump with a lot of 5 other pumps. I do not need most of them. This pump runs and pulls a strong vacuum. With the connections I cannot tell what vacuum level it pulls down to. Seems to be in good condition. The sight glass is a little dirty with a line across it where the oil level must have been. I have since drained the oil out of it for shipment. It is wired to 120 volts but can be changed to 230 volt with a couple of terminal changes in the motor. There is no plug on it. I tested it with one that I had but then left the wires disconnected. If you would like I could throw on a plug for your desired voltage. Thanks for looking! I will have to check in to shipping options. This thing is heavy and will have to be in a small crate for protection. I can get a quote if you are interested in shipping this.

This vacuum pump has been stored in my warehouse for the past 12 years. Only a week ago did I test it. And all is fine. I am selling it, because I am selling everything. Selling property. Buildings and all, moving up to Alaska, well, that is the plan. Plans change. But the sale of this pump will not change. The model is 1405 VE. I could not find the model number of the pump itself. But it was on the inspection tag left by a certified Welch technician. The motor is Genral Electric 1/2 HP 115/230 v. 1 Phase. The cord has been hardwired into the electric source, so no plug on the end wire. There are a few spots that need paint. I know I have another in my building somewhere. I can feel pressure on the pressure side and vacuum on the vacuum side. The small plastic cups are missing from both sides. Some of the rubber suction feet are dried out and have cracks around them as can be seen in picture number 8.
