Precision Scientific Model# DD-20 Continuous Duty Vacuum Pump This item has a 1/8hp motor that quietly operates the vacuum pump assembly. The small size Seems to work very nicely. I tried to test the pump before listing. And let me give some advice. Don't test these with an automotive vacuum guage. I exceeded mine by quite a bit and stripped the splines on the shaft of the gauge because while the needle stopped. The shaft did not. It continued past the limiting pin and the 28in hg rating for an additional 6in hg. My best guess is the pump provides at least 33in hg. Here is the gauge after removing it from the pump: DO NOT FORGET TO ADD OIL TO PUMP. I will be shipping with an empty reservoir to the winning bidder. The condition of all items I sell is important. So I tend to spend a considerable amount of time looking the item over for ... moreany damage, and taking note if any has been found. Busch RC 0021 Industrial precision Vacuum pump 15 cfm (has only 1 hour use)
This vacuum pump system was bought for an experiment at our plant but we found an outside vendor for the project so we stored this pump for 5 years. We are cleaning out our storage so we have put it on Ebay. I test ran it and it worked perfect. Notice the filter system is 100% clean. We only ran it for maybe 30 to 60 minutes. The oil is the original from the factory, very clean. The lens that fits on the filter status Gage is lost but both gages check good. The tag on the pump says 15 CFM. The input opening is 1/2" NPT.
