This unit runs smoothly and quietly. After a few minutes with the dial set to a cold setting I could feel that the tubing was cold. I then turned the dial until the"Heat" light went on and after a few minutes the tubing never felt to be any hotter than about room temperature. The"Cold" light flickers when set to colder settings and the"Hot" light ... morecomes on bright when set to hotter settings. There are a few clips missing that hold the screws that tighten the cover on and so the cover is not really on very securely at this time. It only comes with what is shown in the pictures.
