This auction is for a Gast vacuum pump. Model 0322-V3-G18D. The motor is a GE 1/4hp single phase. I plugged it in and the motor runs strong and smooth. I don't know anything about vacuum pumps but it wasn't pulling much of a vacuum. I am guessing the oil jar needs to be filled but I don't know enough about this thing to completely test it. I don't have any oil and since I have to remove the oil jar and two other jars for shipping- I will leave it dry. I am selling it exactly as I acquired it at an estate sale. It may or may not work when oiled. Again, the motor sounds great. This will be carefully packaged for shipping. The jars will be removed and individually boxed so they will not get damaged. It sounds strong when on and the motor runs smooth. When a hand is placed over the nozzle, there is decent suction produced. The pressure gauge doesn't seem to move while the device is on. But I believe this is due to it not being used in the way it's intended not because it's faulty. Everything seems to be working and nothing seems obviously wrong with it.
